Slight Civil War Spoilers but it mostly doesn't follow the same plot at all. You'll see what I mean.

Sally could feel the tension starting to brew between the team each day. And if it was one thing Sally never tolerated.

It was tension. Because tension lead to arguments. Arguments lead to fights. And arguments within the Avengers lead to war.

So she did the calm, rational thing when the public demanded the Avengers sign a stupid contract.

She went on live TV, told them to shut the hell up because the Avengers were helping them whether the public cares or not. That the New York incident (which was a totally stupid name) would've happened even if the Avengers never formed. It was because of them that many people in the world still had children and relatives.

Then she went on to rant about how they have saved many lives from Ultron that would've been created by a mad scientist only Ultron would've been made for evil and not a good idea that just went wrong.

She told them that the children that they see all around them, the relatives they visit for the holidays. Are there now because the Avengers were there saving their lives.

And did they ever ask for anything, anything at all? No, because they were able to be responsible and never ask money from the public or government to do what they did best.

What did they do best? They saved lives.

Let's just say her rant on Live TV shut millions up and the contract was soon ripped up. Tony could be seen as smug, while Steve was proud of his girlfriend, even when he had ducked out to try and find his best friend who was still framed for the explosion.

Of course unknown to Steve, Sally had talked Tony into helping locate him with F.R.I.D.A.Y's help.

Let's just say between the three computer geeks, they found him pretty quickly. They actually found him just slightly before Steve, so Sally did the probably irresponsible thing to do and tried to approach the man.

She knew that if she followed him he would instantly distrust her, along with the fact if she was waiting in his safe house. Or spying on him, because knowing him he probably has developed a sixth sense.

So she just sat in front of his door, not invading his privacy, but letting him know that she knew exactly who she was.

She rested her head against the wood behind her and closed her eyes while allowing her senses to spread out and keep her alert.

Because of this, she knew exactly when Bucky Barnes, the man that was her boyfriend's best friend, had arrived to the place.

She could also feel when he tensed up when he had spotted her but she slowly opened her eyes to stare at him.

"Uh." She said smartly as she carefully, slowly stood up off the ground, "can we please talk? It's about Steve kinda." Sally said having no idea what exactly what she should be doing.

She watched as Bucky looked her over, probably for weapons or any sign of intimidation, before nodding slowly, "Alright." he sorta gruffed and pulled his hat slightly upward as he pushed his keys into the lock.

Sally hung back until the man had the door completely open before slowly following him inside the ratty place, not that she was really judging it too much.

"What did you want to talk about?" He gruffed throwing some food on the counter.

"I don't know if you are aware of the news as of late." She said carefully and watched him tense up, answering her question, "but the Avengers know you didn't do it. And would like you to come to their tower so they can try and help clear things up." Sally said slowly.
