hey I found this old draft and it's not finished but i figured I might as well post it bc I'm not continuing this story so here's something

Gerard Way is a bit of an ass, to be perfectly honest, especially if it's towards his brother.

I was sitting on the couch watching a movie with Gerard, him wrapped up in my arms as we snuggled under the blanket. Mikey wasn't supposed to be home until later but for some reason he came home from work early. When he saw us on the couch, he looked devastated. Gerard had only smirked at him and kissed my cheek, and at that point I nearly punched him.

"Why are you here?" Gerard had asked Mikey.

"They decided to close early because of the upcoming storm," Mikey replied in a cold voice with a straight face. "They didn't want the workers to get stuck there from the snow."

But that was a couple hours ago and our second Netflix movie has ended. Mikey has been up in his room doing who knows what. It was ten at night and I stood up to leave.

"Do you have to go?" Gerard complained.

"Yeah, I have to go to my dad's tomorrow," I said.

I bent down to give him a kiss and grabbed my jacket. When I opened the front door, I was almost knocked over by a gust of wind.

"Fuck," I mumbled.

I looked at the vast amount of white that blanketed the ground. The snow was still coming down hard, I could barely see ten feet in front of me.

"Frankie?" Gerard called.

He walked into the foyer, the dark brown fleece blanket wrapped around his shoulders. He stood beside me as we looked outside.

"Does this mean you can stay?" Gerard asked hopefully.

"There's no way I'll be able to drive in this weather," I stated.

He was shaking beside me from the cold, his breath turning to clouds in the air. I shut the door and hugged him tight.

"Yay," he whispered happily.

"Let me call my mom and I'll be in there in a moment," I said.

He nodded and walked back off to the living room. I pulled out my phone and dialed my moms number, looking at the snowstorm outside.

"Hello, sweetheart," my mom said when she answered.

"Hey, mom, I'm at Gerard's but I'm going to have to stay here," I said.

"Oh, I know, these roads are terrible," she said. "I told your father he should've gotten the four-wheel drive when he bought that car for you. I mean, you still wouldn't be able to drive in this condition but at least it's give me a little more piece of mind."

"So I'm not going to dad's tomorrow?" I asked.

"There's no way that I'm letting you out on those roads," my mom stated.

"Okay, goodnight then," I said.

"Goodnight," she repeated.

I hung up and stuffed the device back into my pocket. There was footsteps above my head and Mikey walked down the stairs, throwing me a glare.

"Tell my brother that mom and dad are stuck at grandma Helena's," he said.

Mikey turned and went back upstairs without another word. I like his grandma Helena, she's really sweet and is always encouraging to Gerard and Mikey.
