"Of course, because you wouldn't want to worry that pretty little head of yours," Ray teased at Gerard.

The three of us were sitting in Gerard's bedroom a few days later. His parents weren't home and Mikey had gone off somewhere with Andy so we wouldn't have to worry about him.

"I'm too good for this," Gerard said, flipping his hair.  "Peasants."

"Damn, why is my boyfriend so fucking sassy?" I joked.

He laughed, leaning into my side.

"So, Frank, I heard you were joining a band once you got out of high school," Ray said. "Gerard won't shut up about you."

Gerard smiled but his cheeks still tinted slightly pink.

"Yeah, I am," I confirmed.

"Nice," Ray said.

It was silent between us, the only sound coming from the white noise of Gerard's music. He was sitting on the ground with his back leaning against the bed as he used one hand to draw in his sketchbook and the other to smoke. I took the cigarette from his hand, taking a drag of it.

"You ever smoked before?" Gerard asked.

"No," I replied, taking another drag only to have Gerard take the cigarette back from my lips.

"Don't copy me," Gerard advised. "I'm a bad influence on you."

"I don't need to be treated like a child," I countered.

He kissed my cheek, giving me a smile. Gerard continued with his drawing of Ray, who was sat across from us with his back against the wall. Gerard has spent the last hour working on Ray's hair and he wasn't even halfway done with it. The curls were quite a hard thing to draw.

"So no college for you, Frank?" Ray asked.

"No, that's not really my thing," I said. "I'm more laid back, I don't need an education to make music. Just my guitar and my muse, Gerard."

Gerard smiled at me lovingly.

"Let's start a band together," Ray suggested.

"I can't sing and play guitar at the same time", Gerard said. "Hell, I can barely even play guitar without Frank telling me exactly what to do."

"So you can just sing," Ray offered. "Frankie and I can play guitar."

"I think we'd need more members that that," I stated.

Ray chuckled, nodding his head in agreement. Gerard continued his drawing, glancing up at Ray every now and then. His eyebrows were furrowed as he concentrated and I couldn't believe how cute he looked. I kissed his temple and he laughed quietly.

"Hey, there's a party in an hour," Ray informed us, looking at his phone. "It's at the fraternity."

"The one with the douche bags?" Gerard asked.

"No, the other one," Ray clarified.

"Oh sweet, yeah, let's go," Gerard agreed. "You coming too, Frankie?"

I looked at Gerard's eager face and nodded. He smiled, jumping up to his closet. He changed into a black hoodie and fixed up his make up. Soon we were in the car and ready to leave. Gerard's college wasn't far and the frat house was bustling with people. I've never been to a frat party before and was looking at the big place nervously as we walked in. Gerard and Ray both seemed comfortable, though, maybe I was just a child compared to them.

"Come on, let's go talk to these people," Gerard said, dragging me over to a part of the house.

There was a girl with short, black hair that was in pigtails, a guy with long black hair, and another one with spiky hair.
