The marriage!

Chapter 4

Jassmin pov

Yay finally the weekends are here .. As usual I woke up for my Fajr prayers and prayed the two rakats and then I read the Quran(Holy book) . Reading the Quran always makes me feel better and fresh in the morning.

After that I had my breakfast, and as I was about to go back to my room, my mum called me.
"Jassmin!" my mum called.

" Yes mum, what??" I asked back without going back to the kitchen.

"I need to talk to you come down now! " she called. I had no choice but to go to the kitchen.

"So, What have you thought about yesterday? " she asked I was slightly confused, but then I remembered the talk that I had between my father and me. Was they waiting for my reply?

" Mum not so fast! I need time to think. And coming Monday I am having my paper can I reply back to you after my exams. Do inform dad about it." With that I headed up to my room.

" OMG! I totally forgot about yesterday.... what am I going to day, But I need to talk to aisha.. Can't wait for her to come over today. Am I even ready to marriage a stranger? " these were the thoughts I had in my mind.

The day went off quietly until 6pm, I was watching tv and then I heard a knock on my door , I quickly grabbed my scarf and opened. There was the person I was waiting for aisha and her family. I said my salam to her mum and invited her into the house after her mum came aisha, I quickly hugged her and whispered to her.

"I miss you! Anyways I have something important to tell you. " I said.

"Awwww thats so sweet of you, I too have something to talk about " she said, her face full of excitement.

I saw our parents and Amin, talking in the kitchen without any delay I dragged aisha quickly to my room and locked the door.

"Okay aisha listen carefully , i am going to tell you something important. I dont want you to get excited or spread it to our other friends because it is not confirmed yet."

She nodded her head in agreeing to me that she wont say to anyone. I was quite nervous and was hesitate to tell her.

"Faster Jassmin, say what is it ? I cant wait to tell you mine."

I took a deep breath in and out, "Okay aisha, two days before , my dad say that his business was not good and he borrowed money from his friend Ali but the thing was that Ali wants me to get married to his son yusuf. And i am thinking to agree to it . " I said as quick as possible and waited for reaction.

She was in shock , i think she took time to digested what i said to her.

"Jassmin, are you playing with me ?? why did you tell me before? Is this confirmed? Do you really want to get married to someone who dont you know?"

I was confused about the sudden outburst of aisha, i thought she would be happy for me but why?

"Aisha , What's wrong ? Are you angry with me or what? It is not confirmed. But then i am thinking about it i need to do this for my father atleast , you know right how much i love my father ? " i said to her.

she looked at me confused and told me that she's fine but from her face i can see that she is not fine.

" Nothing Jassmin, i am hungry let's go and have dinner ?" was she could said i thought to myself.

"But aisha dont you have anything to tell me ?" i asked her .

"Nope nothing." she said, i decide to give her some time for her to cool down.

We went to kitchen and had our dinner together , i sat beside Aisha and throughout the dinner i felt that someone was staring at me. I looked up to see Amin looking at me and the moment he saw me looking at him he quickly lowered down he gazed. What has happen to him? He didnt talk to me much and is behaving weirdly.

After aisha's family left i went up to my room i felt very tired and needed sleep. Tomorrow i will be studying for my monday exam paper and i decided to tell them the answer after my monday paper.

Hi i know this chapter was boring , but i was out of ideas. In sha allah, i hope that my next chapter will be good . I have decided to update once a week as i need time to write down the ideas and edit them. Those of you all has been reading my book and voting for it . Jazakallah !
