Chapter 10

Aisha pov

I was about to tell jassmin that my brother likes her but then the guests has already arrived . I asked jassmin to go first as I needed to use the toilet, after that I went down. I saw Jassmin passing tea to her so called future in laws and she moved to her so called husband, at first I couldn't see him because jassmin's back was blocking my view. After serving him the tea, she moved and I was shocked, It was Yusuf, my brother's friend and also the person I secretly loved . I was broken. My eyes were filled with tears and I went to wash my face. I saw jassmin walking towards me . She was in shocked state too. I felt I wanted to tell jassmin everything but I couldn't. How can I spoil my best friend's life?

"Aisha, can you follow me to the garden??? Amin's friend (Yusuf) say that he wants to know more about me? I don't want to go alone please I will feel uncomfortable." She pleaded me with a puppy face.

All I could think was I have to do this for my friend I don't want to hurt her in anyways so I went with her.

Jassmin and I was walking towards the garden and Yusuf was following us. I told jassmin that I will wait somewhere further from them where I can still see them because I don't want to listen what they will be talking about.

They were talking and I saw Jassmin being nervous and some point she was blushing and I saw Yusuf smiling at her. They really took more then 5 minutes to talk so as I was walking towards them I heard Yusuf telling jassmin "I LOVE YOU" I was shocked and broken at the moment. I ran towards the house at the moment and told jassmin's parents that I need to leave immediately.

I ran all the way to my home and went to my room. I was crying terribly until sleep took over me.

"Aisha wakeup! you need to pray your margib prayers. " My mother was waking me up . I was too tired after crying. "Okay mum, You go first I go and take my wudhu first." After taking my wudhu I went to my bed and saw my phone showing a sign of lo battery . i went to charge and turn off my phone . I was shocked to 25 missed calls and 15 messages. 20 missed calls from Jassmin ,2 missed calls from brother and the rest from my other friends. Out of the 15 message, Jassmin message me 7 times, my brother 3times and my friends 5 times. Forget it i have no time to read up the messages and i am not in mood to talk to anyone.

Jassmin POV

What happen to Aisha, I didn't see her anyway and my mum told me that she has to leave . Why didn't she tell me anything? I called her so many times no answer and WhatsApp her many times. I went to check my phone and saw that Aisha had blue ticked me but she didn't bother to reply me. Why is she doing this ? She has been changed. I wanted to cry because I didn't know why Aisha Is avoiding me? That's it I am going to sent her a long message. With that I start to type but have way through, my phone rang and it was an unknown number. I was wondering if I should answer it. I decided to answer it because i thought it might be aisha using someone's phone to call me.

"Assalamakalium" he said.

"waalaikum salam" the voice said back to me. From the voice i already knew who it was. It's him. But how did he got my number?? I was wondering how he got the number.

"Sorry, i didnt ask for your number directly, i actually asked your dad for your number" i guess he was smiling.

"hmm it's okay.. " i said wondering how to react to what he say.

" If you are free tomorrow , we can meet up to know each other better. Can we meet at the café near your house? " he said

I didn't know what to say because it was awkward and I cant believe that he wants to know more about me. "Yes sure, but If you don't mind can I bring my cousin Fatimah along?"

"Sure, no problem shall I pick you guys up or meet at the café directly?"

"I think we will meet you directly at the café. " I said.

"Okay.. It's pretty late now so Goodnight and see you tomorrow." he said pretty nervous.

"Yea sure .Goodnight" and I waited for him to hang up the call .

I texted Fatima and told her to meet me in my house by 1 pm. After she replied that she can make it . I charged my phone and went to sleep. I cant believe that he actually called me out. Did he love me or is he playing with me? I was thinking about how my life has changed and how is the future going to be like?

Fatima is my favourite cousin. She is cute and she is an outgoing person that's the reason why I thought of bringing when I am going to meet him. I didn't want to disturb Aisha and I wondered why she hasn't replied to any of my calls and messages . Is she ignoring me? With all the thoughts going on I felt quite depressed and I cried to sleep.
