7. Facebook Buddies?

Wait, what? I rubbed my eyes to make sure that I wasn't seeing things. Sure enough, Leo actually did send me a message. Honestly, I didn't even remember friending him on Facebook.

I nervously texted back.

Lily: I'm average at math, I guess.

Ugh, that sounded so stupid! He instantly responded back.

Leo: That's good enough. How do you do number 17 on page 56?

I took my math textbook out and quickly scanned the question.

Lily: You do the middle part of the equation first. After, you do the first part then the last part. Once you're done, just put all the answers together and you have your final answer.

Leo: Ah, I get it now. The answer is 32, right?

Lily: Yep, good job! Need anymore help?

Leo: Nah, I got it. Thanks.

Lily: You're welcome. I'm gonna sleep, goodnight.

Leo: Sweet dreams.

Well that doesn't happen very often. Leo Carter actually texted me, when he didn't necessarily had to. Does he also consider us friends?

That night, I had a fantastic dream. However, I didn't quite remember what it was about.

"Good morning, Lily!" Ivory yelled from across the room.

Great, another morning person.

"Quiet down a little, it's only 8:30," I said, yawning.

I glanced over at Tristan who barely looks awake. I probably look like that right now, except 100 times worse. I should just be a zombie on Halloween, which was only 2 days away.

"What are you doing for Halloween?" Ivory suddenly asked.

Okay, that was creepy.

"Stay home, watch Netflix, eat discounted Halloween chocolates. Just the usual."

"I'm going to hang out with my friend. Do you want to join?" she offered.

"No, it's fine," I declined.

The school bell rang, indicating the start of class.

"Quiet down people, we have a lot to do today," the teacher loudly said.

After English was over, I went to my locker. I found Alice there with her best friend, Britney Kane. She had brown hair that was always tied in a ponytail and light brown eyes. I just moved to this school a month ago and I already encountered the three most popular girls Alice, Britney, and Victoria. Oh, and I also met Leo.

I never actually seen someone use the locker beside mine before. I didn't even know that it belonged to Britney.

I started to panic, wondering what would happen if Alice saw me. Do I really need something from my locker? Yes, I needed my PE clothes no matter what. Should I wait for them to leave or go now? Obviously I waited.
