Nick's POV

"Where did you learn to sing?" I ask, wanting to know the backround of her beautiful voice.

"It helped me pass the time when I was younger, and I got better as I grew older. It's usually my escape and I try to memorize and learn as many songs as I can."

"Oh, that's really cool." I say. Then, trying to change the subject to not make her think that I'm prying, since Komorah suddenly looks uncomfortable, I say, "Do you want to meet my family?"

"Um... Yeah. That sounds like a good idea." She answers, then pauses before asking, "What if they don't like me?"

"Are you crazy? Of course they'll like you, you're perfect. We could go see them after we eat if you want?" I suggest, stopping my steps so I can look into her eyes.

"Okay."

We eat a nice meal of bacon and eggs, and I was glad to see that she quickly scarfed it down once she realized it was okay to eat.

As promised, she sang me a song; Die a Happy Man by Thomas Rhett (a/n, I love that song ). It's an understatement to say that I enjoyed it. Especially when Komorah grabbed my hands and danced with me all around my room. I'm really glad that she's trusting me and relaxing around me as much as she is. It tells me that at least I'm doing something right.

"Are you ready to go see my family?" I ask once we catch our breaths after dancing.

"I guess." Komorah says nervously. I grab her hand and squeeze it reassuringly.

"Don't worry Sugar, they'll love you."

She just nods, but a small thankful smile makes its way across her delicate features. I begin to pull her out my dooor, but then she stops me.

"Wait, what about clothes? I don't think I can go in this." She says, gesturing to the clothes she's wearing, which are just some of mine.

"Okay, um... do you want to go shopping today, and then we can go see my family tomorrow?" I ask, hoping that she'll be okay with going to a place with lots of people.

"That's fine." She answers, giving me a small smile.

"Alright, let's see if we can borrow some clothes for you." She nods approvingly and we set out in search of some girl clothes that fit.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My beta, Louis, his mate had some clothes that we could you. His mate used to be the same as Komorah; timid and bruised. She had grown up the same way Komorah had, with neglect and acuse. His mate's name is Kaleah, and she's about the same size as Komorah, so her clothes could work.

Once Komorah is dressed in a pair of brown leggings and a long knit wool pale pink dress. Brown ballet flats cover her feet and I'm surprised to say that everything fit perfectly.

"You look amazing, are you ready to head out?" I ask, taking her hand after looking over her approvingly.

"Yup, I'm ready." She answers, practically bouncing up and down in excitement.

I laugh at her a little, "I guess that you really like shopping huh?"

She stops hopping and looks at me shyly saying,
"I haven't ever gone shopping, which is why it's exciting, it's something new."

I smile at her, "I'm glad that you're excited. Now, let's go!"

I grab her hand gently and pull her down the stairs and out the front door towards my black Aston Martin. Her eyes widen and she lightly runs her tiny hand over the hood, as if hypnotised by it.
