Chapter 5

"Where's Amalda?" Max asked as she walked into the living room.

"At school doing a class project." Iggy answered as he held a book in front of his face...ironically. Max looked at him peculiarly.

"Enjoying that book, Ig?" Max asked.

"Oh yeah...pride and prejudice..." Iggy said slowly as he turned a page. Max walked up to him and took the book from his hands.

"You're blind, Ig. I'm dumb, but I'm not THAT dumb. What happened." Max asked. Iggy blinked twice.

"...boy or girl?"

"Don't change the subject." Max demanded.

"Look, Amalda's at school, okay?" Iggy said as he got up and went to the kitchen. Max peered at him, then walked through the hallway to the stairs. She saw Fang.

"Hey." She said and he turned to her, "have you seen Amalda?"

"No." Fang shook his head.

"Ig says she's at the school." Max said, showing too much alliteration.

"...I'll go see." Fang said as he gave her a kiss, then walked out the door.

"Why are we here?" Damon asked, "I don't see why we can't go to an actual theater."

"Because my parents know that I'm at the school. Not at the theater. And I'm doing a project." Amalda answered as she pressed play on her laptop, and their movie started. Damon looked at Amalda cautiously, and she definitely noticed.

"Are you okay?" Amalda asked.

"Oh, it's nothing..." Damon said, and he had almost an...evil look.

"Damon?" Amalda asked as he started getting up and walked to the window.

"I thought you said you came alone." He said, his voice said, getting lower and more menacing.

"I-I did..." Amalda stuttered.

"Good..." Damon growled, "no one will know you're missing..."

"What?!" Amalda shrieked, as she got up. He turned around, his eyes red. He started walking her up to the wall, and she tried the door knob, but as soon as Damon looked at the door, the lock snapped shut.

"Wh-what are you doing?! How did you do that?!" Amalda screamed.

"Be quiet! It'll make your death faster." Damon growled, and he suddenly grew fangs, fur, and long sharp claws.

"E-Eraser..." Amalda whispered breathlessly. She extended her black wings and pushed off the wall. She launched herself over Damon and headed for the window, until she suddenly hit a metal file cabinet that was somehow being held in front of the window. Amalda screamed and fell back. She looked at the levitating cabinet and looked behind her. She gasped when she realized that Damon had powers. He was using telekinesis to hold the cabinet in front of her.

"S-since when did Erasers have powers?!" Amalda shouted.

"Oh, you'd be surprised. But really, let's see what I can do with you." Damon smirked as he held out his hand, and Amalda gasped when she felt him choking her. She slowly rose off the ground as she held her neck, struggling for air.

"I was told that you're invincible...let's see if that's true." Damon laughed ominously as he started to close his fingers, ready to choke her to death. But there was a sudden crash at the window, and the file cabinet was hit and thrown into Damon's face. Amalda fell onto the cold tile as she gasped for air, holding her neck and coughing.

"Well, well...I was hoping to find the leader herself, but this will do..." Damon chuckled as Fang stood before him, blocking Amalda with his large black wings.

"Leave. My family. Alone." Fang growled menacingly.

"Sorry. Can't. It's my job." Damon shrugged, but as soon as he denied, Fang had him on the wall, both hands around his neck.

"You almost killed my daughter...do you seriously think I'd let you get away with that?!" Fang yelled, "who are you working for?!"

"Go ahead...kill me." Damon said.

"I will make your remaining minute a living hell, before I take you down there personally." Fang's grip tightened.

"I'm not talking. You can beat me, kill me, but I'm not the last one, nor was I the first." Damon  shrugged. Fang looked at him a long while, then he finally tightened his grip tight enough, then jerked his head to the side, snapping his neck. Fang dropped the dead body in front of him as he panted in anger.

"Dad..." Amalda cried as she stood up slowly, still holding her neck.

"Amalda..." Fang sighed as she ran into his arms.

"I'm so sorry...." Amalda cried. Fang looked at her sadly as he hugged her.

"Let's go home." He said finally, and she nodded as he wiped away her tears.
