This is after Percy and Annabeth started dating this is after The Last Olympian but before The Lost Hero.

Annabeth's PoV

Percy and I were sitting on the beach. It was a warm summers day. And put my head on Percy's shoulder. "Annabeth, if you could get rid of one fear, what would it be?" I thought for a moment. "Why?" I asked. He looked at me and shrugged. "I dunno, I was just wondering." We sat there for a moment in silence. "Spiders." I said quietly. He smiled and put his arm around me. "I remember when I first encounted you and a spider." He said.

*flashback*

"Annabeth!" I whipped my head around to see half the Athena cabin cowering in the corner. "What's going on guys?" Malcolm opened his mouth to speak but Leia (a younger member of the cabin) burst into tears. I rush over to her. "Hey, what's the matter?" I whispered in a calming manner. "Sp-sp-sp-SPIDER!" She started crying even harder. I slowly turned around. There it was. Staring at us and then took a step forward. We all whimpered in fear.

 "Annabeth," Malcolm looked at me." You know what to do!" I nodded. Then, after a moment of silence, I screamed. Suddenly Percy came rushing in with the riptide in his hand. "Where is it?!? Where's the monster?!?!?!?" It was still looking at me. I pointed. "Th-th-there!" Percy turned around and looked over to where I was pointing. "Where?" He said confused. I looked over to it. The thing hadn't moved but it was still staring at us. I pointed again. "There!!!!!" I whimpered. He looked and smiled. 

"That's just a spider Wise Girl." He walked over to it and picked it up. " See," he said holding it up to us. "It is just a cute, little spider. In fact it's so cute I'm gonna keep it and call it..." He paused to think."Bob." I looked at my ridiculous boyfriend. "Did you just call that thing...cute?!" Percy grinned, he was winding me up. "Yep." Then he went outside and put 'Bob' on a tree. Then he uncapped the riptide and squished it.(A/N No spiders were harmed in the making of this one-shot.)

I ran up to him and pulled him into a kiss. "Thank you, thank you, thank you." Squealed Leia. And she ran up to Percy and hugged him. "You saved us from the....monster!" He smiled at her and opened his mouth but Malcolm interrupted him. "This doesn't mean we like you though!" He smiled and grabbed my hand. "It doesn't matter as long as I have my Wise Girl!"

*Flashback end*

I looked over at Percy and punched him lightly. He grinned. "Thinking of that I actually met Bob's brother, Richard. I think he's right over there..." I felt something on my back. I shot up and ran off screaming. Percy doubled over in fits of laughter. "You know Wise Girl," he got up and pulled me into a hug. "I think I have found your weakness!"
