Jaden smiled as he said that he had come to visit Yusei since he hadn't seen him since the Paradox incident, and he wanted to catch up with Yusei since he hadn't seen him in a long time. Jaden said he was from Duel Academy but it wasn't like the one in this timeline. He said the Duel Academy he was from ranked students by how good there dueling skills were. When Jaden said he was in the lowest rank Luna was shocked. She didn't know what to think, or what to say. How could this guy be good enough to travel with Yusei if he was one of the lowest ranked in his school? That's all she could think about, so she decided to ask.
"Jaden, if your the lowest rank how can you be so good to help Yusei beat paradox?" Jaden looked at Yusei and Yusei and Jaden both smiled and laughed. Yusei then turned to Luna and said,
"Oh Luna, don't let his rank fool you, Jaden is one of the best duelists you'll ever see. Plus, he probably is the best when it comes to Fusion Summoning." Jaden bounced on his heels a bit when he spoke,
"You betcha, I may have bad academics but that doesn't mean I can't throw down just as good as the next duelist. But, best at Fusion Summoning I'm not so sure about that Yusei." Luna smiled a bit and crossed her arms and asked another question.
"Okay, but if your so good Jaden, how come your ranked so low?" Yusei looked at Jaden Jaden smiled,
"Well ya see Luna, on the day of my entrance exam I beat this teacher that was said to be the best teacher in all of the academy. Since you had to win to make it into the school, I tried as hard as I could and I beat him! But since I kicked him off his throne, he's hated me and everything about me and since he's in charge of the ranks...that's why I'm a Slifer. But he doesn't bother me ;nope, not one little bit!" He smiled and gave Luna a thumbs up. Yusei smiled and nodded,
"Well it sounds like you gave him what he deserved" Jaden smiled and nodded,
"Yep, and jeez was he mad when I beat him" Jaden just laughed and gave Yusei a pat on the back. Luna couldn't help but smile too. This Jaden boy was quiet the character, and Luna was very interested in this boy. Plus, every time he looked at her she felt funny, like he was special in some way but she didn't know how.
