Forbidden Love (Jaden x Luna)

Chapter 12: Answers

Jaden looked at Yusei and Jack and sighed,

"Look, I'll explain everything right here right now, I swear."

Jack looked at Yusei then back to Jaden,

"Go right ahead."

Jaden took a deep breath,

"It started back when I was younger and I would always here a voice whispering to me but I never thought of it very much. Until one day, my school was in danger and I was fighting a powerful opponent and I was close to losing. When the voice spoke to me and said I could beat this guy and have all the power I could dream of in my hands. I was speechless  but then a powerful dark energy filled the room and a card called Super Polymerization appeared in my hand. That's where that duel gets fuzzy but I remember when I came to I had won the duel. But my friend Syrus had gotten upset and ran off with the rest of my friends. They left me alone, and I hate being alone. That's when that same voice told me I'd never be alone. The dark energy came back and the world went  dark around me and I thought I had passed out. When I came to, my remaining friends told me what had happened the last few days and it was horrible things. I did horrible things that I never wanted to do. Now he's with me forever and all his power runs through Super Polymerization."

Yusei looked at Jack with a worried look,

"Jaden have you ever tried to get rid of the card."

Jaden nodded,

"Yeah but I can't. His life force runs through it and he's connected to me. So, if I rip it or something I will destroy him yes. But......."

Yusei stepped in,

"You'll die as well right?"

Jaden nodded and said no more. Yusei took a deep breath and crossed his arms,

"Okay, but Jaden you realize this is putting Luna in danger right?"

Jaden nodded. Yusei sighed,

"Okay then if you really love her then I think it might be best if you leave."

A young female voice broke the silence,

"What?!"

There stood Luna on the stairs with a shocked face,

"You can't send Jaden away Yusei! I love him!"

Yusei sighed and was going to say something but Jaden jumped in,

"Listen Luna, he's right. You know perfectly well that your not safe around me."

Tears filled Luna's eyes and she ran and hugged Jaden,

"No Jaden, I don't want you to leave!"

At that moment another female voice filled the air,

"Yusei, how could you be so cold hearted."

Yusei turned and looked and there stood Akiza with her arms crossed and looking sympathetically at Jaden and Luna.
