Forbidden Love (Jaden x Luna)

Chapter 7: Paradox

Jaden began his story about the whole paradox incident,

"Well it started when I went looking for some classmates of mine's cards that had been stolen. I went looking for the thief and found paradox." 

Luna stared in wonder as Jaden continued,

"So then he summoned all of his dragons and they started attacking me and whatnot." 

Luna looked at Jaden in Awe,

"You would risk your life to get your friends cards back?"

Jaden nodded,

"Of course! They're my pals and I'd never leave them hanging!"

Luna nodded because she and Jaden shared the same belief about the whole friend thing so she gestured for him to continue. He nodded and kept telling the story. He told about he was running around trying not to get killed by the dragons. Then he told about when Paradox summoned up Stardust that he had stole from Yusei.  

"So then I said, nice dragon know where I could score one?"

Luna laughed, 

"You really said that?"

Jaden laughed, 

"Heck ya I said that!" 

Luna laughed again and told him to continue. So he told about how he was in big trouble and then just as Paradox attacked with Stardust, a big red dragon swooped in and blocked the attack. Luna smiled, 

"That was Yusei and the Crimson Dragon!" 

Jaden nodded,

"It sure was, he saved my life that day." 

Luna shrugged, 

"He has a knack at doing things like that."

Jaden laughed,

"Yeah, he sure does."

Jaden continued, 

"So Yusei and I had a chat after Paradox disappeared and we decided to team up and we went father into the past and met Yugi Muto and we defeated Paradox and went our separate ways. That's it basically." 

Luna smiled,

"That story never gets old, no matter who I hear it from."

Jaden laughed, 

"Well it was a pretty crazy day, jumping to places in time and whatnot." 

Luna laughed, 

"I bet so." 

Jaden smiled and rubbed the back of his neck and sighed. Luna smiled and thought: I really like Jaden he is so amazing, oh boy, I'm so crushing so hard! But I can't tell him I just can't, no way. At the same time Jaden thought: Jee Luna's pretty great, she's so cool and understanding, oh crap I'm crushing aren't I? Oh no no no no, I can't, I just can't it's not good for me to get too close to someone. But oh man, I just can't help it. I mean it's Luna we are taking about here. I can't help myself! At the same time Luna and Jaden both said,

"Do you like me?" 

They both jumped at the other person saying it at the same time. Jaden gave a nervous smile,

"As a friend of course."

Luna nodded,

"Oh yeah totally." 

They looked at each other and knew that they wanted to be more than just friends. They smiled at the same time, but Jaden spoke,

"Luna do you want to be my......Uh...well...uh.."

Luna held up her hand,

"just stop right there, I know what your going to say Jaden and yes I would love to"

Jaden smiled from ear to ear and so did Luna. They both knew this was going to be the beginning of a great relationship.
