Forbidden Love (Jaden x Luna)

Chapter 14: This can't continue

Supreme King walked back and forth in his half of Jaden's soul room. Muttering things to himself,

"This is terrible..it has never taken me this long to get a job done....and yet this is all so peculiar and unfair!"

He stopped walking and stood in place for a moment,

"Why? Why can't I get this job done? Why is it so hard for me to come out and even do one little thing? There's something different about this one....."

He thought long and hard then it dawned on him,

"Of course! How could I have been so stupid! It's love...that's why it's so hard for me to do my thing... and it's not just any love....it's a strong, true love...."

Then a evil grin creeped onto his face,

"Okay then Jaden...be in love...that doesn't matter,I can do my work just fine from here!"

Supreme King gave a evil laugh.

"and I can't wait to get started...and I will start very soon..."

~Back to Jaden, crow and Luna walking~

They were almost back to Yusei, Jack and Crow's place and Jaden was telling a story,

"....Then I hit the ball and this guy named Harington blocked it from hitting Alexis and then it hit Professor Crowler in the face.."

Crow laughed,

"Did you get in trouble?"

Jaden laughed,

"If you call getting made to play tennis all day a punishment then yeah.."

Crow and Luna laughed and then they made it back to the building.  They walked in to see Yusei still working on his bike and jack reading a newspaper and drinking coffee. Crow grinned and whispered to Jaden,

"Hey Jaden, watch this..."

Crow walked up closer to Jack and grinned,

"Hey Jack I see your sitting around doing nothing like usual..."

Instantly Jack jumped up and grabbed Crow by the shirt,

"Say that one more time Crow...I dare you!"

Crow squirmed but couldn't get out of Jack's grip,

"Jees Jack I'm sorry...I'm sorry.."

Jack rolled his eyes and let go of Crow and he went back to reading and drinking his coffee. Jaden came up and gave Crow a pat on the back,

"Do you try to make him mad?"

Crow laughed,

"Sometimes I do it just to annoy him..."

Luna looked up the stairs and frowned,

"Oh I just remembered I left my book upstairs, Jaden do you want to come with me?"

Jaden smiled,

"Sure.."

The two of them walked upstairs and into Yusei's room to get Luna's book. Luna walked over to her book on the bed and picked it up,

"Oh I love this book so much.."

Jaden smiled,

"I'm sure it's great.."

Just then out of no where Jaden felt a sharp pain in his rib cage. It felt like someone had just stabbed him in the ribs. He stumbled back a bit holding his side,

"What..the heck..."

Luna dropped her book and ran over to him,

"Jaden what's wrong?"

Jaden winced in pain,

"I don't know...."

Luna's eyes filled with worry,

"Move your hand Jaden..."

Jaden removed his hand from his side and sure enough where Jaden's hand was there was smeared blood. Luna gasped,

"Oh my god..."

Jaden was trying not to look at it,

"Dang it! He probably did this..I'm not sure how but I'm almost sure of it..."

~Back in Jaden's soul room~

Supreme King laughed,

"It has began..it's time for me to make my come back.."

He laughed another evil laugh, and he was almost 100% sure he was going to complete his job.
