Forbidden Love (Jaden x Luna)

Chapter 18: A small victory

Supreme King stood in shock as Jaden called his attack. Supreme King knew that he had to think of something and fast and then t hit him. He got a plan even if Jaden wins this its a win for him as well. The attack hit him and he flew back and his life points dropped to 100. Jaden grinned,

"And thanks to his special ability you take damage equal to how many attack points your monster had, and if I did the math right that's 2300! So do your thing old pal! Activate your special ability!" 

 Supreme King's life points went down to zero and Jaden grinned and gave his usual hand motion,

"That's game!"

Supreme King smiled,

"You may have defeated me Jaden but small victories don't win entire wars."

At that moment, Jaden's vision began to go blurry and he bit his lip,

"What are you doing?"

Supreme King laughed,

"It's not what I'm doing, it's what you did Jaden. You see when you defeated me you were also hurting yourself, so you experience everything I feel. "

Jaden grit his teeth and his vision got even worse and he started to feel dizzy. Supreme King walked over and stood over him,

"Oh Jaden, no matter how hard you try to be grown up and take care of your problems you will always just be a stupid boy! A boy who can't save his friends or any other world without some way goofing up!"

Luna stepped forward,

"Don't listen to him Jaden! He's a liar!"

Supreme King shot a angered glance at Luna,

"Stay out of this little girl! Even if you have powers or not I'll wipe you off the face of this earth! Do you understand me?!"

Luna took a scared step backwards and didn't say another word, out loud that is. She thought to herself,

*Jaden please don't listen to him..please. He's wrong about you, your life and who you are and what you stand for! Please don't listen to him..*

Suddenly Luna could hear three words spoke in her mind,

*Your right Luna...*

It was almost a whisper but yet she heard it. Jaden slowly got to his feet and stared eye to eye with Supreme King,

"You think you have me beat, your wrong! Because I have a friend here to help me out...

Supreme King smirked,

"Not anymore I got rid of Yubel!"

Jaden smiled,

"I'm not talking about Yubel.."

A flash of light filled the room and only left a small half of full of darkness, and there by Jaden's side stood Winged Kuriboh. The monster that had started it all for Jaden and it now was the friend that Jaden would always have.

"Hey old pal nice to see you!"

The winged Kuriboh smiled and nodded and spoke something to Jaden. Jaden grinned,

"Yeah buddy I know.."

Jaden turned to Supreme King who was beginning to disappear,

"You have no power here now! So see ya later Taco Bell Menu!"

Jaden waved and smiled and Supreme King disappeared completely. Jaden sighed and turned to Luna with a grin,

"Well looks like I took care of him huh?"

Luna ran up to Jaden and hugged him tight,

"Don't you ever do that again!"

Jaden hugged her back in return,

"I can't make promises like that...you know me.."

Luna let go of him and sighed,

"Yes I know..."

Jaden grinned,

"But let's get out of here.."

Luna nodded,

"Okay"

A flash of red light transported Jaden and Luna back to the real world. When they arrived there they just sat in silence for long while.
