As Koha and I walked down the hallway, he sighed.

"You're such a mess, Princess."

I pouted.

"It doesn't matter. I'm going to bed anyways. I'll worry about my hair in the morning."

Koha opened my door and gestured me to go in. When I entered my room, I felt that something was different, like someone besides Koha and I were there. Looking around, I shook my head in disbelief of how messed up my brain was thinking right now.

"Good night, Princess."

"Good night, Koha."

Before he left, I just remembered that he was suppose to tell me the reasons why his actions were done.

"Wait, Koha!"

He had a deep sigh.

"Yes, Princess? Do you need a goodnight kiss?"

His ridiculous question let me know he was teasing me.

"Koha! Excuse me, but are you forgetting something? Ya know, something about you're actions?"

His facial expressions grew serious.

"Well... There was a unknown man that was walking down the hallway. It appeared that he was following you."

My eyes widened. No, there was no possible way that a stranger had gotten in the palace without any guards-My thoughts stopped in its tracks. There were no guards on duty. It was Kazoku Jikan. Everyone is home. But.. Then why is Koha still here? Should he not be home with his family?

"Why are you still here, Koha? You should be at home."

"Well, Kazoku Jikan doesn't really apply to me. Remember? I'm your personal guard. I'm suppose to stay by your side 24/7."

I sighed deeply.

" You need a break sometimes too, Koha---"

My words were cut off by the sound of glass shattering, very close by.

I shrieked. Koha ran out into the hallway, checking who was there. A few minutes passed, and he still wasn't back. Sweat dripped down my face of the images that flew in my head. What if that man Koha talked about was the one who shattered the glass and he now has Koha? What if Koha is dead? What if he's after me next? To see for myself, I quickly threw my covers to the side and ran out in the hallway. No sign of Koha. I ran down to the nearest corner, to find that a pot of  a plant had been shattered.

I looked everywhere, and there was no sign of him.

"Kohaaaa!?!?!"

No reply. My voice once again echoed down the long, dark hallway. I started running. Running from my own fear. I passed a dark room, which its door was open. I stopped abruptly. Though the room was filled by the moon's light, there was a pitch black figure blocking the light. A Shadow.
