Birthday

I stopped playing.
"Y-Yuukiro..."
He snickered.
"Haha, I thought you'd notice sooner, but you were so into your playing that you didn't even notice I was here!"
"I didn't realize you were going to visit..."
"Well, it was a change of events. I was suppose to go with my father to a meeting on another continent, but that changed, since the continent we were suppose to go to, Gren, is having technical difficulties with who knows what, the meeting was canceled. Yuuuup."
"Gren is really far away, unlike Rorqihas. It is much closer than Gren. What was the meeting about?"
"I don't know, my father said this ,'Son, we need to attend to a meeting on a remote island of Gren next week.' And then he never said anything, until Friday night, which was 2 days ago."
"Have you ever been to Gren? I haven't. YET! I want to go as a party for my 16th birthday."
"Haha! I have been to Gren, but only once. It was a need as a tour. Been to any other continents?
"Yeah, Rorqihas. It's really a  beautiful place."
"I really want to visit our sea, near Rorqihas---"
Just as we were going to have a normal conversation, there was a knock on the door, even though it was open.
"Hey love birds, quit the talking and come with me."
I sighed.
"Kohaaaa, what now?!"
"You'll see.",
Was all he said.
As we walked for what seemed like forever, Koha finally stopped.
"Go in."
Sliding open the door, a fume of what smelled like peaches flew into my nose.
"P-peaches?!",
I questioned Koha. He nodded. Our continent, Clare, doesn't have peaches. We can't plant them on our type of soil. It was very rare to have peaches.
"Who shipped them here?" Yuu asked.
"Who else but our friends Rorqihas?"

The peaches were delicious. There were only 2 carts of 35 though, which is definitely not enough to feed everyone, so few got to eat them.
"Hey Koha, do we whave any plans tomorrow?", I asked him.
"Yeah, it's your cousin's birthday tomorrow."
"Ha ha, very funny. Which cousin."
"Oh, right. Esmerlyn I think..."
"Oh crap."
I hated Esmerlyn, she only cares about herself, and is spoiled. She has tantrums when she doesn't get her way. I sighed deeply.
"UGGGGHHHH.... Do I have to go?"
"Yeah."
"When is it?"
"I think it starts at 6:15 tonight."
I took a glance at the clock near us, ticking away quietly on the wall.
"We have a bit less than 10 hours, since it's 8, almost 9."
"Well, better use that time wisely..."

Yuu had some business to attend to, so he had to go. Me and Koha talked for quite a bit until it was almost lunch time. Most of our conversations were about government, and making fun of others.
"Do you remember that time when Ahren jumped from the window in the tower all the way down to the lake?"
I was laughing so hard I started crying.
"Hahahahaa!!! I remember that day. He wanted to show off in order to impress me, so he came to a conclusion to climb that watch tower which was like, what? Over 35 feet tall?! And then he shouted,' Watch me Senza-chan!!! Stop looking at Yuu and look at me!!!', and he jumped."
"Then he started to cry when he got yelled at for jumping off the tower."
I laughed again.
"Koha, Koha, and remember when he blamed Yuu that he dared him to jump?"
"Haha! Yeah, and then you defended him by saying that it was MY idea! Then we all got in trouble."
He punched me in the arm.
"Hey!"
I punched him back, the hardest I could.
"You gotta work on those weak punches."
Embarrassed, tried to think of a excuse.
"S-shu-shut up! A princess shouldn't need to have to learn fighting skills."
"And what happens if you are in trouble and no guard is around?"
That shut me up.
"See?"
There was a long silence. I decided to speak up, only to get cut off.
"He---"
"I--"
"Sorry. Go ahead."
Things were getting awkward.
"Ok."
I paused before talking. I could feel my face heat up.
"D-do you still like Naomi?......"
"Hm? Wellll.... I guess... But I don't see her as much as before."
"You do know that she likes Ahren, right?"
"Yeah... But do you still have a crush on Yuu?"
Koha smirked. I knew he could see my face heat up.
"Y-yeah... But don't tell him!..."
"Well, yeah of course."
"Thanks---"
Our conversation was cut off by a near by guard announcing,
"Hey, it's almost time for lunch. Better head down to the mess hall before all the food is going, you two love birds."
When he walked off, and I frowned.
"I don't think he knew who we were, Senza,"
Said Koha, probably trying to comfort me.
"True... I'm not wearing anything fancy anyways."
I wasn't wearing anything particularly fancy. A middle sleeved dress that went down to a bit lower than my ankles, plain baby blue with laces at the end of the sleeves and the rim of the dress. I didn't have any jewelry except for my red anklet (of course they can't see it, the dress is covering it) and a pair of tiny pearl earrings with some peach colored flats.
"Well, I'm running to get my food. Beat you there!!"
Koha sprinted off. I laughed.
"Is that a challenge? If so, gladly accepted!"
