Chapter 10:
' I don't wanna tell you that sometimes I think of you and smile'
I close my eyes as Chester See's song plays through Melissa's iPod. We were on the way to the airport, Ethan driving the car and Dylan sitting on the passenger seat.
Melissa was fast asleep beside me, I couldn't blame her. It was 3am in the morning and I've been replaying the song I'm falling for you by Chester See for the part 20 minutes. Normally, I don't really pay attention to this song but this time I find myself relating to every word he sang.
'I don't know how long I can stick around and be just another friend time and time again'
I pause the song as I caught sight of the airport, I violently shook Melissa surprisingly waking her up, it was normally harder to wake her up.
"We're here" Ethan stops in front of the entrance as Dylan quickly goes down and gets Melissa's suit case from the trunk. I hug Melissa tightly, I'm gonna miss her so much. I hand her iPod back and she just inserted it in her bag.
"I'll call you everyday, tell me update me all the time ok?" I let go of her and chuckle.
"Sure thing" I gave her a smile.
In a blink of an eye, I was surrounded by people with cameras and recorders. I tried my best to ignore them and sadly, I couldn't bring Melissa inside cause of the chaos going on.
I gave her a guilty look but she smiles and mouthed 'it's ok'.
"Alexandria!" I hear a then calling my name. It was crazy as the flashes stung my eyes and my ears were buzzing from their screams. When I was young, I've always dreamt to be famous.... I regret that now.
Ethan pulls me back to the car and leaves the scene. It took me a few minutes before I realized I was seating on the passenger seat. Isn't Dylan supposed to be... Oh shit!
"Ethan! Where's Dylan?!" he looks at the backseat then at me and his eyes widens.
"Shoot!" he hits the breaks sending me forward but good thing I was able to hold on to my seat saving my dear life.
"We left him!" Ethan makes a u-turn and we quickly spot Dylan surrounded by the press people. I somehow felt guilty about forgetting about him. Dylan and Ethan were wearing normal clothes so I'm sure this will be a big issue later.
We stopped in front of the madness and luckily, Dylan was able to make a run from them and literally hops in the car. He was panting as he seats on the backseat.
"I'm gonna kill you for leaving me with those demons" I couldn't help but laugh at his traumatized expression. Ethan rolled his eyes.
"At least we came back for you" Dylan playfully glares at us and I just laughed it off. Sooner of later, I felt my eyes closing as I fell into deep sleep.

I rolled over feeling the soft comforters... wait, wasn't I supposed to be in the car? I opened my eyes and caught sight of the crystal chandelier hanging on the ceiling. Yup, this was definitely my room.
I sat up and rubbed the blur from my eyes. There was a tray of food on the bedside table with a letter on it.
"Fell asleep on the car, thought you'd be hungry" -Ethan
As if on cue, my stomach grumbled.
I placed the tray on my lap and picked up the garlic bread lying beside the plate of spaghetti. I finished it in mere 6 minutes cause that's how hungry I was.
After eating, I went to have a quick shower.
Grabbing the towel nearby I hear someone open the door from my room and at first I didn't mind it but... I forgot to lock the bathroom door. I quickly put on my underwear and before I could wrap the towel around me, the door shots open and my eyes widen in panic.
"Alexaaaaa!!!! Lets go shopping!" Irene barges in and pulls out of the bathroom. Damn, I should've gotten my clothes. I quickly wrap the towel around me.
"Irene I think she's-" shit. I know that voice. I hesitantly turn around holding the towel tightly around me. It was Dylan of course, with Ethan behind him.
"Showering...." Ethan continues.
"Come on I wanna choose your clothes!" Irene pull my arm and what happens after that is something I never wanna talk about.
My towel fell.
You know when there's this very awkward silence and you just stand there like a statue? Well that's what happened.
You know what Irene did? She made things worse.
"Oh my gosh! I so love that bra! Can I borrow it?!" I quickly took the towel and ran to my closet.
Ugh why does these kind of things happen to me? What's worse? Ethan was there! And Dylan! I swear, if Irene wasn't my uncle's fiancé I would've been pissed already.
I took a pair of shorts and a t-shirt that said 'Shut up'. I don't wanna seem rude, but based on the previous events, I am admitting that I am in a fowl mood right now.
I went out with Irene lying on my bed. She looks up at me and frowns.
"I wanted to choose!" I shook my head
"Maybe tomorrow" she just kept on frowning making me roll my eyes.
"Please?" I shook my head again. I swear she's so immature for her age.
"Lets go" I pull her out of my room... literally. Since she kept on insisting on chooses my outfit.
"You wanna go shopping or not?" I snapped at her.
"I do!"
"So shush!" It made me feel guilty being mean to her but I was in a bad mood right now. This seemed to shut her up though since the whole time we were in the car she was quiet.
And not to mention. Awkward.
Ethan and Dylan can't even look me in the eye!
Well, this day is starting off to be really weird.
As always, Irene made things worse.
"Alexa! The hottie senator's son is asking if you can meet up with him later" oh yeah, I forgot that she was my secretary. I see Ethan glare for a whole but I chose to ignore him.
Dylan is different though "Ouch! Your replacing me now?" I raise my eyebrows.
"What?"
"I thought what we had was special?!" he puts his hand on his chest pretending to be hurt.
"Awww baby, you know nobody can replace you!" I pinch his cheek and we both laugh. Hmmm, Dylan was actually really cool.
Ethan growled making Dylan laugh harder.
Again...
What's going on with him?!
