Chapter 12

Chapter 12:

"Landon! Landon! Is she your girlfriend?" one if the men asks constantly following every step we make. Our bodyguards were surrounding us making sure that they don't come too close but hell, I just want these people to leave us alone.

"She's just a friend" Landon says simply. We head to the cinema and I let out a sigh of relief as the guards close the door behind us leaving us with the silence of the cinema where only a very few people are watching in.

On the way to the front row, before Landon could even seat Ethan and Dylan quickly seat beside me leaving Landon to seat beside Dylan.

"Dylan, I think Landon should seat beside me. Thanks for the protectiveness though" I tell him nudging him with my elbow.

"Oh honey, you're not the one I'm doing this for" he says not looking away from the screen.

"Oh my god! That was awesome!" Landon exclaims, I gave him a smile and a nod. That movie was indeed awesome. I wasn't really a big fan of zombies before, but I sincerely enjoyed it.

"I love how the zombies weren't losers" Ethan pipes in. He stands in between Landon and I, and I swear it's getting on my nerves. First of all, I couldn't talk to Landon properly and whenever I try to, he would interrupt.

But i, being the girl I am didn't mind Ethan walking closely beside me.

"So you wanna grab something to eat?" Landon asks.

"Sure" we walk to a cupcake shop with baby pink and blue colors on the wall.

"This place is so cute!" I say looking around the shop. It wasn't very big, but it was adorable.

"So what do you want?" Landon looks at me with raised eyebrow. I shrug.

"Order me anything" he nods and I sit on one of the booths. Again, getting squished between Ethan and Dylan. Landon returns a few minutes later sitting across from me. Dylan kept on moving making me feel uncomfortable.

"Uhm... Alexa, you wanna seat here instead? You seem to be too tight there" Landon says politely. I nod right away but before I could stand up, Ethan does. He seats beside Landon, leaving me with Dylan.

"Uhm ok then" Landon says awkwardly.

The rest of the night was quite fun, aside from the fact that two bodyguards were in between Landon and I the whole time! I felt sorry for Landon though.

We finally arrive to what I now call "home". Before I could get out of the car, Landon pulls me back. I raise an eyebrow at him.

"Had a great time tonight" he says. He gives me a kind smile.

"Sorry about Ethan and Dylan though"

Landon laughs making me look at him weirdly.

"You do know why they're doing that right?" I raise my eyebrow again and shook my head.

"You are gullible you know that? Can't you tell that Ethan likes you?" My heart starts raising again. Ugh, just by mentioning his name! But I know he doesn't so....

"No... We're just friends" I manage to stutter out. He looks at me intently then says

"But 'just friends' don't look at each other that way" he says in a serious tone" I am speechless.

"I need to go"

"Ok. Here's my number, call me if you need anything" he says handing me a piece of paper. I gave him a smile and got out of the car where Ethan and Dylan were standing stiffly.

"Come on boys" I pat their backs and ran towards my room.

"Wait up!" I hear them both say but I don't stop until I reach my room. I laughed my head off when I see them catch up panting.

"What was that for?" Dylan says and crosses his arms like a little kid would.

"Oh nothing. Got bored" I say as I get inside my room and close the door.

Sitting on my bed was a small box with a sticky note on top. I walk closer and noticed that it was a phone!

"To my daughter, hope you like it!

From: your father"

I opened the box revealing a black iPhone 5. Wow.

I quickly turned on the phone, dialing the first person I could think of.

Melissa.

After three rings she finally picked up.

"Hello?" She says in a bored tone.

"Thought you'd be excited to talk to your best friend" I say. I smile a little knowing what she'd do after that.

"Oh my gosh! Melissa" we both shriek and I couldn't wait to tell her what happened today.
