I rolled over in my bed and for once, Meek was actually laying next to me. I laid my hand on his chest and ran my hands up and down his chest as he groaned in aggravation.

"mmmm Nicki stop" he groaned in his sleepy voice that I loved so much. I laughed in amusement and continued to play with his chest until he moved my hand away. I looked at him and rolled my eyes as I rose up from the bed and walked towards the bathroom. Before I could reach the bathroom door, a phone buzzed. I looked over and saw it was Meek's phone.

I walked over to pick up his phone and it read a message from his friend P

P: I just made my last deliver last night to some homies down da street. Meet me at da crib a lil later. I got a couple people that needa pint later on-11:39am

I kept re-reading his message and shaking my head in disappointment. I balled up my fist and closed my eyes ready to punch the shit out of Meek right about now!

"Meek? Meek get your ass up!" I yelled as I pulled the pillow he rested on from under his head. He sucked his teeth and rose up from the bed in aggravation.

"Baby man! Why the hell you----"

"What the hell is this shit?!" I asked as I held his phone up for him to see while he stared trying to read what the phone said. I stood there for a minute or two and watched as he looked stupid.

"Baby I---"

"Meek, you know this is the shit that landed you in prison and you still are fucking around with this? Are you serious?" I asked as I tossed the phone to him and watched as he picked it up and read it again. I gave him one last look before shaking my head and walking out of the room.

Lord knows I didn't want to lose Meek again and just the thought was unbearable. I walked down the stairs and felt a tear slip out of the corner of my eye as I made my way to the living room where Papi was watching tv.

"Good morning Miss Anita" Papi said in his cute little voice as I wiped my tear and leaned against the wall. I was surprised that Papi was actually up at this time of morning. Then I had to remember that he's a kid and we all know kids love the tv!

"Good morning boo" I whispered as a slight smile took over my face as I watched him look at the tv.

"How was your sleep Papi?"

"It was good. Daddy gave me a teddy bear and I wasn't scared. I was big boy!" He cheered as I smiled and nodded at his cute little self but then a frown formed on my face as Meek came from behind and wrapped his arms around my body.

"Can we talk about this?" He whispered as he kissed my on my neck but I moved out of his grip giving him a dirty look before I walked out of the living room.

"Daddy will be back okay?" Meek said to Papi as he followed me out of the living room.

I stood in front of the kitchen with my arms folded across my chest and a frown on my face. Meek came and rubbed me on my shoulders but I wasn't in the mood for it so I pushed his hands away.

"Look baby, I know what I'm doing ain't right but I gotta do what I gotta do. I ain't--"

"Meek do you love me?" I cut him off as a tear began to roll down my face as I kept my eyes closed.
