They never thank me for opening doors
But they ain't even thank Jesus when he died on the cross
'Cause your spirit is ungrateful, bitches is so hateful
I remain a staple
My career's been a pink print
When I retire, tell 'em think pink
Pink Friday is the imprint
And these bitches basic, instinct

I got out of my car and closed my car door shut behind me. Immediately, I was baffled by paparazzi who asked me a whole bunch of questions that I damn sure wasn't in the mood to answer so I kept it moving until I got inside of the courthouse. June 21st. Meek's court date.

As soon as I walked in, I was checked by security then eventually made my way to courtroom B where I walked inside to a room full of people. All eyes were on me once the doors flew open so I quietly made my way to a seat next to Meek's sister who sat in the front row, along with Papi and his other relatives I've never met before.

As soon as Papi laid his eyes on me, he jumped out of his seat and gave me a big hug. I kissed him on his little cheeks as I held him into a tight hug before I finally released him.

"I missed you Anita."

"I missed you too my love." I whispered as I rubbed the top of his head then watched as he made his way back to his seat. Meek's mother looked in my direction before introducing herself and hugging me tightly.

"You must be Onika, my sons girlfriend" she whispered as she pulled back from our hug and patted my hand with a wide smile.

"Yes ma'am I am."

"You look beautiful and I want to thank you for coming here baby girl. It means a lot to our family."

I shook my head and patted her hand back.

"You're son is my everything and I wouldn't miss this day for the world." I smiled back as I leaned back into my seat after I let go of her hand.

"ALL RISE FOR JUDGE PATRICIA JONES!"

Everyone stood up from there seats and watched as the judge entered the room from a door on the left side of the room. We were all told to be seated after a few moments and that's when my heart began pacing. I've never been so nervous about anything in my life. Lord can this day be over with already?

"Case 206, The city of Los Angeles verses Robert Williams. May I ask that Mr Williams is brought into the courtroom please?"

"Yes ma'am." A police officer said as he stood to open up the door where Meek walked in with his hands cuffed up. I gasped a little to myself and just stared blankly at him as his eyes made contact with mine and eventually turned away.

Meek sat up in the front next to his lawyer and I sat in my seat nervous as hell. What if he get sent to prison? I don't think I would be able to function right if Meek is sent away again. Despite all of this bullshit he's been in, I love him through it all and I don't think I ever will stop.

I couldn't help but tear up a bit at the thought so I used my finger to wipe away my tear that soon fell out of the corner of my eye. Meek's mother must have noticed me tearing up and rested her hand on mine and rubbed it gently with her thumb.

"Baby girl, there's no need to cry. Everything is going to be okay, I promise."

I nodded my head and smiled as I wiped away another tear before it could fall. She smiled back at me and removed her hand and faced her head towards the front of the court as the trial began.
