Chapter 4

The results came up and Thomas clicked on the first result.

'A heat is something experienced by those of the feline species or those who have some sort of connection to that. It is when the body experiences hormonal changes and can cause great discomfort for the individual. Heats usually last for 5 days including pre-heat which lasts 1 day.
Symptoms for pre-heat include: stomach pains, an increase in sexual needs and vomiting.
Symptoms for heat include: Vomiting, headaches, stomach pains, cramps, great increase in sexual needs, can become very emotional, hot flushes, decrease in apatite....'

The list went on and Thomas couldn't help but feel sorry for the poor boy. He was going to go through this in a week?
The words 'great increase in sexual needs' was underlined indicating that it was a link, Thomas clicked on it.

'During a heat the main two things that an individual will experience is sickness and a great increase in sexual needs. The individual will have an increase in sexual hormones causing then to want and need sexual attention but this can be dangerous since they are also very vulnerable during this time and can be taken advantage of. It is recommended that the individual that is experiencing the heat would have someone who is trusted to help tend to these needs rather than try to satisfy themselves. The whole process of heat can be very tiring for the individual since it's a ongoing process for the full 5 days. After the process is complete, the individual will experience extreme tiredness for the next day and affection towards the individual is recommended.'

Thomas couldn't believe what he was reading. This heat thing sounded terrible and the fact that Newt had to go through it made him feel sick. The fact that Newt would have had to go through it whilst with those men made him feel even worse. Thomas thought back to what those men had said, that he makes a good sex toy especially during his heats, now it all made sense.

Thomas put his face in his hands at the thought. Those men took advantage of Newt during that time and without a doubt at other times. Tho safely a rage building up at that thought but kept it hidden since the water to the shower had turned off.

It was quiet for a few minutes before the smaller boy appeared, wearing Thomas' clothes whilst holding the old ones.
"Just put those in the trash, we can go out later and get you some new clothe but for now you can just wear mine" Thomas said and Newt gave a small nod.

Thomas looked at the boy in front of him. His tail was wrapped around his waist and his ears were pressed down against his head.

Thomas gestured for Newt to go onto the couch and he did just that. Thomas placed the blankets over the boy and tucked him in. After a few whimpers and flinches Thomas finally got him into 'bed'.

"If you need anything I'm just in that room" Thomas said pointing to the room a few doors down, the smaller boy nodded.
"Goodnight Newt"
"G-goodnight Tommy"

Thomas turned around at the nickname, a small smile in his lips.
Newt however thought that Thomas was mad at him for the name.
"S-sorry, I didn't m-mean to-"
"No no, I like it" Thomas assured the smaller boy who gave a small smile if his own, which Thomas thought was beautiful.

"Get some sleep ok" Thomas whispered walking over to his own room, taking off his shirt and jeans and slipping into a pair if similar grey sweatpants to the ones he have Newt. He climbed into bed and lay down, thoughts of the kitten boy played in his mind.

Even though he had just met him, Thomas couldn't help but feel protective over the smaller boy. He has been abused and now he's here with him. Thomas smiled to himself at the thought if being able to protect the boy, and also at the fact that Thomas couldn't deny how incredibly beautiful the boy was, tail and all, if anything, those features just made him more adorable.

Thomas turned over and closed his eyes, attempting to fall into some sort of sleep. The kitten boy was still on his mind, not that it bothered Thomas.

Thomas turned one more time and felt the darkness take over.
