Chapter 15

(I'm sooooooooooo sorry about the long wait I had exams and everything was really crazy but I'm back and I'm hoping to update more often now :) please enjoy!)

Newt was the first to wake up out of the two boys. He had forgotten that he had asked Thomas to stay causing him to slightly freak out when he woke up in another boys arms. But when he remembered he calmed down. He let out a sigh as he looked at the sleeping boy next to him. Thomas looked so at peace, so beautiful and Newt felt butterfly's in his stomach, not that he understood what that ment.

Thomas stated to stir and opened his eyes to see that Newt was still looking down at him.
"Well hello there cutie" he whispered whilst rubbing his eyes. Newt felt a small blush at the compliment.
"Did you actually sleep?" Thomas asked and Newt nodded causing a smile to break out on Thomas' face.

The smile quickly formed into a frown when he saw that Newt started to frantically look for the bucket before heaving into it again. His whole body shook whilst he tried to empty himself into it.

Thomas could see that it was hurting him so he rubbed small circles on the smaller boys back.

Once Newt was done, he carefully placed the bucket back down on the floor and lay back down on his back with his eyes closed. Thomas looked down at him, sighing at how broken he looked. Newt slowly opened his eyes and his eyes met Thomas'.

Thomas wanted nothing more but to lean down and kiss the broken boy. To feel his lips against his, to show him that he truly did care.

"Newt, how are you feeling today?" Thomas asked sadly whilst Newt looked up at Thomas sadly.

Newts breath hitched and Thomas knew what was happening. He sighed and held Newts small hand which was slightly trembling.

Newt began to shift uncomfortably in bed so Thomas pulled himself up and out if it, giving Newt a sad smile he walked out of the room.

As soon as the door shut Thomas could hear Newt from behind the door, but this time it wasn't panting or moaning, it was muffled sobs and that broke Thomas' heart. The sobs got more and more frantic and Thomas could just hear the pain that was mixed in with them. He wanted to go inside, to comfort him but he knew that it was probably best to just let him go.

Thomas couldn't wait until this heat was over.

Suddenly a horrified cry was heard from the room where Newt was. Thomas almost slipped on the tiles as he ran to the door.
"Newt!? Can I come in?!" Thomas frantically yelled, knocking on the door as small cries still filled the house.
"Newt I'm coming in ok?!" Thomas could wait for an answer as he swung open the door and gasped in shock at the sight before him.

Newt was laying in the bed, the sheet hardly covering his small hips, with blood everywhere.

Blood was splattered on the pillow and the blankets, it was in the bucket and had been smudged on his small face.

Newt had vomited up blood, and a lot of it.

"Newt! What-what is happening?!" Thomas asked frantically but Newt only stared at him blankly. His eyes were foggy and it looked as if he was going to collapse. A small whine left his lips as he held  his stomach in pain.

"Does this normally happen?" Thomas whispered, but still no response.

Thomas was freaking out so he pulled out his phone from his back pocket and went into google. Frantically he typed in what vomiting blood whilst in heat meant and he automatically regretted that decision once the results came up.

He clicked on the first link, waiting for it to load up Newt let out a loud cry that was cut off half way by him slamming his face into the pillow. His small, battered body was trembling whilst he struggled to stop crying.

Thomas almost threw his phone at the wall when it was taking forever to load but finally the page came up and he scrolled down.

'During the cycle of heat, there are some things that the care taker must be wary of.
1. Vomiting blood: Vomiting blood is something that is not common but can still happen. If this is to happen then immediate hospital care is to be taken as quickly as possible as time is crucial.
If the individual is vomiting up blood, this most likely means that there is something wrong with the individuals heat cycle. This is primarily associated with individuals who have been abused sexually or have undergone an extreme amount of stress. This can be very painful, but unfortunately without hospital care there is no pain reduction methods available.

How to see the signs: if an individual is vomiting up blood, that is the main indicator that there is something that needs to be taken care of with hospital care.
Other signs include: extreme stomach cramps, fatigue, falling in and out of consciousness as well as possible seizures.
Contact a hospital for treatment immediately'

Thomas looked over at Newt who was clutching his stomach desperately, blood was still smeared on his face and his eyes were closed shut.

A hospital.... But he is a hybrid?! What hospital does Thomas take him too?!

Thomas walked over to the poor boy and ran his fingers through his hair. Newt was too weak to flinch so he just lay there panting in pain.
"Newt, I need to take you to the hospital ok? I promise everything is going to be ok" Thomas tried to sooth but Newt just groaned in pain.

Thomas quickly dashed  out the room and got a damp towel, came back in and gently whipped Newts face. The blood came off easier than he expected and soon enough his little face was clean.

Thomas put his arm under his legs and one under his back in an attempt to pick him up bridal style but Newt let out a cry.
"It's ok it's me I'm just going to bring you to the hospital ok?" Thomas tried to sooth the boy.
Thomas picked him up and Newt grabbed onto his shirt, burying his face into it.

Thomas exited the room but then realised one problem.

Thomas didn't have a car, nor could he drive.
