Rises from Insanity (Sequel to Falling In Love with Insanity)

I stared into the empty pill bottle and sighed. I tossed it to the side and laid down on the bed shutting my eyes as I was lulled into a deep sleep.

Third Persons POV

"Where's Bane?" Striver asked as he was forced into the chairs.

"Bane as no authority." Crane stated. "Death? Or exile?"

"E-exile." He stuttered. Crane brought down the mallet.

"Sold to the man in the cold sweat.

"How long do we have?"

"The bomb goes off tomorrow. We have about 18 hours to do something."

"To do what?"

"To mark the truck. Get a GPS on it so we can start to figure out how to bring it down." Gordon explained just as Detective Blake and some other men came in. "Foley? Where's Foley, damn it?" Gordon asked storming out of there.

"You shouldn't be out on the streets." Blake warned Gordon.

"You little punk. What did you take?" The two men ran after the boy grabbing him.

"Nothing. I didn't take anything." The kid yelled as the men searched him, finding an apple in the kids pocket.

"You steal from us, you little bastard?" The man raised his fist ready to strike him but Selina Kyle twisted his arm.

"Now you boys know you can't come into my neighborhood without asking politely." Selina says grabbing the apple hitting the man on the head and pushed him to the side. She attacked the other man knocking him out. "Never steal anything from someone you can't outrun, kid." She took a bite at the apple before tossing it back to the kid who ran off after.

"You're pretty generous for a thief." Bruce Wayne said walking out of the shadows.

"I thought they killed you." Selina stated.

"Not yet."

"If you're expecting an apology, I'" Bruce cut her off.

"It wouldn't suit you. I need your help."

"And why would I help you?" She asked him.

"For this. Clean slate." Bruce says pulling out a flash drive. "You'd trust me with that? After what I did to you?"

"I'll admit, I was a little let down.  But I still think there's more to you. In fact, I think that for you... this isn't just a tool. It's an escape route. You want to disappear. Start fresh." Bruce explains holding out the flash drive.

"I can't even get off tis island." She stated.

"I can give you a way off...once you got me to Lucius Fox. Find out where they're holding him and take me in." Selina takes the flash drive putting it in her pocket.

"Why do you need Fox?" She asks him.

"To save the city." Bruce said.

"Who says it needs saving? Maybe I like it this way." She says with a smirk.

"Now, now nobody likes a liar." They turn and see the masked girl who works alongside Bane. Them not knowing that she's Katie Wayne.

"You work for Bane." Bruce stated not recognizing his own daughters voice, believing she was dead.

"More like along side him." She told them.

"What do you want?" Selina snapped.

The girl's eyes glazed over.

"To end what I started."
