I could barely breathe as I brought my eyes back up to them. The windshield was cracked to pieces from Kens body weight. Steven had his collar tightly in his hands and yanked him forward then smashed him back down. I could only flinch at the sound of the glass breaking again. I refused to look away though. Ken was getting every bit of what he deserved. I knew that it'd be a certain point that We'd have to get help. But not now, this has been boiling for a while.
Ken was trying to hit him but every time his arms came up Steven would pull him forward and smash him back down. Fire was rising in those green eyes. Each smash was getting harder and harder. The glass was getting weaker. Every creek made it harder not to intervene.
I looked behind me to see a bunch of the film crew rushing over. Everything seemed to move in slow motion as they approached. This whole thing just seemed unreal. I calmly stepped out of the way and they breezed right past me. Rushing like a pack of animals to the last meal.
It took three guys to pry Steven's hands off and four to pull him away. He backed off and I noticed a little blood dripping from his lip. Which he simply ran his tounge over. He looked to be in perfect condition except for that. Wish I could say the same for Ken.
Two guys pulled him forward and I noticed the blood that filled the cracks of the windshield. He held his head and groaned in pain. He could barely sit forward. Maybe I had let it gone too far.
When he was on his feet, you could see the blood through the back of his white shirt and some running between his fingers in the back of his head. Tiny shards of glass poked out in his forearms that made me turn my head away.
When I did, I saw an obviously irate Leonna racing down the parking lot to us. Clenching papers in her hand and her hair swinging from side to side. I mentally groaned because I already expected a lecture that I wasn't in the mood for.
"What the hell is going on?!" She screamed finally reaching us. Her eyes went straight to me.
Ken was sitting on the curb, as one of the crew pressed a towel on his back cuts. Steven was leaning on the next car casually beginning to light a cigarette. You'd think she'd take the hint.
"Are you all fucking death? What happened?!" She snapped.
"They fought," One of the crew said motioning to Steven and Ken. She crossed her arms and gave me a glare.
"What'd I tell you? Huh? What did I tell you? I told you that I could've fixed their problems! This could've been prevented!"
"It couldn't of.." Steven mumbled around his cigarette. He brought the lighter up and cupped his hand around to light it.
Leonna raised her eyebrow at him Then focused back at me. She began rubbing her temples and shut her eyes.
"I didn't need this. I didn't need this." She mumbled. Her eyes slowly opened and I could see the hate in them. "I told you this morning about this. I told you that you were responsible for them."
I could barely focus on what she was saying. The blood on the concrete was really getting to me.
"Do you hear me?" She snapped her nails in my face. "I'm talking to you and we had a deal!"
I stared at her, a sarcastic smirk beginning to work it's way on my face.
"What did I tell you was going to happen if this got in the way??!" She yelled. "You, get that psycho," She pointed to Steven. "And get your stuff and get the hell off my set!"
By this time, I was fully smiling sarcastically and tilted my head.
"Are you crazy or something?? I said GET...OFF...MY..."
