This is dedicated to my awesome friend Leonna, also known as @FireHeart05, who loves all my stories and is forever encouraging me to write even while Im in the hospital. She wrote a story called Goodbye Aiden which I read while we were in school together. It will be on Wattpad soon. She never stopped believing my story ideas.

This one's for you Toodle.

===========

You know what's embarrassing? Getting a Hickey from a person you can't decide your feelings for. You know what's more embarrassing? Having to call your sister at 2am to ask her how to remove it. What's more embarrassing than that? Having to explain the situation only to find out she has no clue how to remove a hickey. And well the ultimate embarrassment is calling your 16 year old cousin at 3 am and him knowing EXACTLY how to remove it.

Gee, thanks Steven.

After I managed to hang up, completely sulking in the idea of the next family dinner. And how this whole situation would one day ease itself into the conversation. And when it did, I'd have the idea of a wolf attack in mind.

I ran downstairs and sprinted across the lobby, in sweatpants and a oversized grey sweater. I tried to avoid it, but I got a parade of stares at my love mark on my neck. I came back in my room with a bag full of things that Sean suggested I try. Toothpaste, a bag of ice, a tooth brush, peanut butter, and a spoon.

Worst night ever but I somehow managed to clear the ugly thing from my neck just as 7 o'clock am rolled around and the sun rose. I had seriously worked at this all night, and I wouldn't dare sleep until I did get it off. I rubbed my neck even feeling for a slight raise of skin or unusual texture. It was smooth as a baby's bottom. Luckily for me, because Ken would totally freak.

I tried to lay in bed but after ten minutes I got a sudden rough knock at the door. Oh come the fuck on, I thought as I kicked the covers off. I didn't even want to open the door because I knew it was the only logical sense for someone visiting.

I opened the door slightly and there stood the bastard who was the reason I had gotten zero sleep. He was looking down at the floor, nervously rubbing the back of his neck before grinning up at me. Adorable, my mind repeated.

"May I come in?"

"No."

"Great." He budged the door open and it nearly hit me. He walked in casually as if he had been invited in. I decided that I was so tired, why even bother trying to fight. I closed the door behind him and turned around bumping into his chest.

"Is there a reason you're so close to me?" I questioned with a smirk of my own. He grabbed my chin and lifted it up more than likely examining my neck. I could just feel his eyes trained on it. That's how long he held my face in place.

His fingers lightly stroking the spot where it once was before a light chuckle escapes his lips.

"It's gone. How'd you do it?"

I swatted his hand away and pushed him roughly.

"Haven't you caused ENOUGH trouble?"

"Apparently not if you were able to get that off in what..." He checks his imaginary watch. "A few hours?"

"I must say, it was a wonderful attempt at ruining our relationship. Good try, May I add." I crossed my arms. "But not good enough."

"Oh don't challenge me. That would be the greatest mistake on your part."

"Oh no, the greatest mistake on my part was continuing to associate with you after all the hell you've put me through."

"You've put me through hell, actually." He pointed a finger. "Chasing someone like you isn't fun, Tessa. Its a lot of work."
