"Can we go home?" I asked, watching as Kimberley left the toilets with Chloe.

My mum looked up, frowning. "Why? Are you feelin' unwell, pet?"

I shook my head, already reaching for my coat. I would of left without her. "No, I just don't want to be here anymore."

Still confused, she agreed. "Ok. You better tell the girls we're leavin' to see if they're comin' with us or not."

Together, we gathered our belongings and made our way over to the dance floor.

"Nicola!" I shouted loudly over the music, knowing there was no point in trying to get Sarah's attention. She turned to me and smiled, her arms still wrapped around Charlie's neck.

"Yeah, babe?"

"We're goin' to go now," I smiled, pointing to my mum. "Are you goin' to stay?"

She looked at Charlie. "Do you want to stay, baby?" she asked, earning a slight nod. "Yeah, we're going to stay."

"I should probably say bye to Nadine," I told my mum.

After hugging Nicola and Charlie goodbye and attempting, but failing miserably, to get Sarah's attention, we made our way over to her as she stood talking to Kimberley who eyes I could feel upon me as we approached. "Nadine," I said, placing my hand on her arm.

She turned and smiled. "Yeah, babe?"

"I'm goin' to go now," I said, hooking arms with my mum and pulling her closer.

She frowned, and out of the corner of my eye I could see Kimberley doing the same. "Don't go," Nadine pleaded, her hands clutching onto mine.

I faked a yawn. "I'm tired, babe. But I hope you enjoy your honeymoon and I hope to hear from you when you get back, ok?

It was awkward talking to Nadine like that when Kimberley was standing next to her.

"Ok," she sighed. Leaning forward, she pulled me into a hug. "Thanks for the present," she whispered before turning to my mum and doing the same.

"It's quite alright," I beamed. "I hope you enjoy it."

Before I turned I gave Kimberley a look. "Nice seeing you," I said, gritting my teeth together.

She smiled. "Nice seeing you too, Cheryl."

And with that we left.

It was cold outside as we stood infront of the posh hotel waiting on James. I wrapped my arm around my mum shoulder, trying to keep her warm.

"That was awkward," she giggled, trying to make light of the situation.

"She really p!ssed me off!" I ranted.

She turned and looked at me, her lips curving into a sad smile. "Why?" she asked.

"Because she didn't even try." Pulling her closer, I sighed deeply.

"Maybe she didn't want to do it infront of hundreds of people?" she reasoned, raising a brow.

I shrugged, trying to move away from the subject. "There's James," I smiled, glad of the fact.

He pulled up infront of us and got out of the car. "Hello, ladies. How was your evening?" he asked whilst opening the door for us.

"Cheryl!"

I turned at the voice, kimberley standing at the entrance doors. She spotted me and began to rush over.

"Go and talk to her," I heard my mum say.

I rolled my eyes. "But she's too late," I exhaled.

"Just talk to her," she continued.

I nodded to James who shut the door over on my mum as I walked back up the gravel path towards the hotel. "What?" I asked bluntly as I came to stand infront of Kimberley.

She looked down, fidgeting with the paper she held in her hands. "I want to explain things to you, Cheryl," she told me offering it for me to take. "Please pop in."

I took it from her and unfolded it, reading the address.

"I also put my mobile number down... you know... just incase you deleted it."

I hated the fact that I made her so nervous, but I couldn't feel sorry for her. I just wouldn't let myself.

"Ok," I replied with a controlled smile. "Enjoy the rest of your night." Before I had a chance to walk away, I felt her hand on my arm.

"I really am sorry you know," she sighed with a sense of guilt. It was clear to see. "If I could turn back time I would."

I nodded, pulling my arm away. "We'll talk," I told her before making my way back to the car.
