So, here is the third and final part. As you will see, it takes place months later.

"Surprise!"

Cheryl laughed, acting surprised even though she had expected it. "Oh my God!" she gasped, spotting a few of her friends and family at the front of the club, all of them laughing along.

"She's here! Everyone hide!"

She looked up to the DJ booth and gave a cheeky wink to Tommy.

The man winked back, completing his awful joke with a cheesy sound effect of people clapping.

Before she knew it, she was almost drown in a sea of arms, various people wishing her happy birthday. It wasn't until she was wrapped in her mothers that her smile turned into that of a genuine one.

"Happy Birthday baby!" Joan grinned, pulling her daughter close. They stayed like that for a while, both sighing contently before Cheryl pulled away.

Her heart physically hurt as she scanned the club, searching for a certain someone.

She wasn't there.

"Where's Kimber...?"

"I'm here birthday girl!"

A pair of arms wrapped themselves around the Geordie's waist, causing her to spin around in the embrace. "You lier!" she pouted, poking Kimberley's side.

"What?" the blonde shrugged, her face a picture of pure innocence.

"You said you had to work tonight! I knew it..." Cheryl laughed. "I knew you would come!"

Kimberley cheekily shook her head. "Really?" she asked, thinking back to the previous weeks and the look of sheer disappointment that seemed to creep its way onto her friends angel-like features everytime she had to decline the invitation to her party. "I think someones telling porky pies!"

Before she had a chance to respond, Cheryl was smothered in a flurry of kisses, three pairs of lips all attacking the available skin on her face.

"Happy Birthday!" she heard the culprits cheer as they pull away, leaving sticky lip gloss marks all over her perfectly done make up.

"Aye, thanks for that!"

Kimberley giggled, detangling her arms from around the girls waist. As she took a step back to allow her some room, she looked around at the other three girls, Nicola reaching for a glass of champagne from the passing waiter whilst Sarah stood like a lovesick teenager, biting down on her bottom lip as she looked up at a sweaty Tommy. Those eyes could only mean one thing... he was defiantly going to get lucky. Nadine, however, was eyeing up Cheryl's dress, commenting on how beautiful she looked in it.

She couldn't believe how far they had came in the previous months. It seemed as though everything had been forgotten about.

"So, how did you get off?"

Kimberley broke from her daze, her mind only half there as she answered Cheryl's question. "Work?"

"Aye."

"I swapped with Alan. Did you honestly think I'd miss this?"

* * * * *

"It's not much," Kimberley half-heartedly smiled, handing Cheryl the present she had bought her.

Shaking her head at the girls attempts to justify herself, the popstar took the small bag gratefully. "Thanks babe!" she grinned, leaning forward to place a quick kiss upon her lips. "I'm sure it's fabulous," she added as she wrapped her arms around her thightly.

Kimberley couldn't help but feel bad. She knew she wasn't in the position to buy Cheryl expensive gifts like the rest of the high profile guest had, but she remembered the perfume the girl had talked so highly about and figured it would be something she would like. "You probably already have a few of them!" she joked, knowing it was more than likely.

"Kimberley!" Cheryl laughed. "I really don't care if I have hundreds of them babe! It's the though that counts." She pulled away and reached for her hands. "I'm sure I'll love it, because I know it's from you," she smiled before handing the bag to her mum who took it away to the small room that housed all the gifts. "Now, let's party!"
