Christie's POV
*two years later*
We all decided to meet up as a group, in person, and catch up.
I stayed in touch with Serenity, Dan, and Jesse, hearing about Francis from Serenity, and Max texting me every now and then.
Serenity and Francis were getting married, Dan finally got Phil, and Max was a changed woman.
I grabbed Jesse's hand, lacing our fingers together. "Aren't you excited?" I ask him, a grin on my face.
"Like hell I am." He grins back, leaning over to kiss the top of my head.
I close my eyes, smiling softly. Jesse and I got together a couple of months after the therapy sessions had ended. We walk a little farther, when we hear a familiar voice shout.
"Jesse! Christie! Over here!" I turn to see Francis grinning happily, waving us over.
When we get over to him and everyone else, he crushes us both in a warm hug. I was shocked, but hugged him back with my free hand, as the other was still holding onto Jesse's.
He pulls away, a smile on his face. "Took you two forever! What the hell were you guys doing? Fucking in the back seat?" Francis winks at my blushing face.
"I wish man." Jesse laughs, doing the bro hug with Francis.
I find myself flushing a deeper shade of red, slapping Jesse's arm. "Shut up."
He grins, wrapping both his arms around my shoulders, pulling me against him. "You fucking love me."
I look up at him, a goofy grin on my face. "Sure."
Jesse lets go of me, and I sit in a chair besides Serenity. On her left was Francis, on his left was Dan, who sat beside Max. Jesse sits in the chair beside me, holding my hand tightly.
"So who wants to go first?" Jesse says, a wave of nostalgia washing over me.
