Jason's POV

I adjusted my back pack, ready to walk towards my doom. Um... I meant Camp Half blood.

I crossed the border hesitantly, stepping into familiar ground. I took a deep breath, inhaling the same smell of plants and strawberries and... Sea breeze?

Suddenly I was tackled to the ground by a huge figure. I opened my eyes to see the very excited face of Percy Jackson. Some people never change.

I chuckled as I got up and helped my best friend up. Then we shared a big hug. We didn't care if we didn't look "manly"

"I've missed you bro." Percy whispered. I heard him sniffle.

"Ive missed you too, bro. 3 years is a long time isn't it?" I said, smiling.

"Too long." He said. His eyes lighting up. He suddenly ran past me and tackled Nico and Reyna in an even bigger hug. They all fell in a pile of hands and legs. I laughed my head of as the attempted to get up. Reyna was the first to untangle herself. She glared at me, but smiled seeing that Nico and Percy were still horribly tangled.

After some time, we all were walking down the hill, goofy grins on our faces as Reyna shook her head at our immature behaviour.

Suddenly a face cam I to view. The face of a girl who made me leave my second home.

Why did you have to do that Piper? Why did you ruin our future?

Piper's POV

I heard a commotion near the Camp border. I shared a look with Eric, who shot me a comforting look. It seems like CJ was here.

I jogged towards the noise, my mind in an intimate war which I couldn't stop.

I stopped. There he was. As handsome as ever. Laughing without a care with Percy.

Suddenly he saw me and our eyes locked. The smile fell away from his face.

We stayed like that for a little while, no one moving.

How did we become like this? Like... Strangers?
