Jason's POV

Her glittered like a multicoloured sky. A scar peaked from her CHB T-shirt. Her hair was messy. Which meant she was up all night thinking.

Suddenly a boy about my age came into view. He took long strides towards Piper. He had blonde hair and sky blue eyes. Probably a son of Apollo.

When he reached Piper he put his hand around her waist. But she continued looking intensely into my eyes, as did I.

When their bodies made contact, jealousy boiled up inside me. But I pushed it down. She wasnt mine anymore. She'll never be.

I felt another presence creep up to Percy. Without even looking I tell it was Annabeth. Percy was getting angry. At Piper, I realised. She was calming him down. I was lucky to have such loyal friends.

Piper's POV

Even after all those years, Percy hadn't forgiven me. I suppose I could understand.

I vaguely felt Eric's arm on my waist. All the memories crushed my heart my heart in a tsunami. The nights I spent crying, regretting, searching, begging for forgiveness.

We finally broke eye contact when Thalia shoved past me and ran towards her little brother. Yes, the hunters were at Camp. But the daughter hadn't even given me a second glance. She acted as if she didn't even care if I existed. One day, Eric got irritated. He walked up to Thalia and was about slap her when a silver arrow let go by Artemis herself, hit him on the leg.

She looked at me and said, "I know that I don't like boys. But what you did crosses the line of humanity."

Those words haunted me everyday and they troubled me this moment as well. Had I gone to far? Was my happiness inconsiderable.

Then I realized. I had made myself happy. But by breaking someone's heart.
