Going Home

Lucy and Laxus start walking back to land. Lucy keeps holding onto Laxus hand, she felt safe. The Raijinshu saw them coming so they run towards them. In the process they knocked Lucy down. Team Natsu and Loki stood by not wanting to interrupt yet.

"Oww that hurts?" Lucy whinned

"Sorry, Lucy" Ever said, helping her up

"Glad your back, Cheerleader" Bickslow stuck his tongue out, 'Cheer, Cheer' babies repeated

"Thanks for everything guys" Lucy smiled

"No worries we came to help out a friend, Lucy-sama" Freed said

"Alright, let's go home!" Laxus ordered

They agreed and were ready to walk away till Team Natsu came up from behind them and stopped them. Lucy turned around still holding onto Laxus a bit scared of what Natsu wanted.

"Hey Luce" Natsu called

"What do you want?"

"I wanted to say sorry..." Natsu said

"Why?"

"W-Well... umm... can we talk in private without them" he said, pointing to her team

"Whatever you have to say you can say it in front of us, right?" Ever sassed

"Please Luce" Natsu begged

"Fine... and don't call me Luce" she hissed

"Why not...?" he asked, confused

"My name is Lucy not Luce. Do you need help with it L-U-C-Y, got it"

Team Natsu and Lucy walked away from Laxus and his team. Laxus didn't like a single thing about this but he respected Lucy and her choices. The thing is that Lisanna has followed them to see what is really going on.

"Look Lucy, we wanted to say we are sorry" Erza said

"Why you didn't do anything wrong?"

"True but we didn't stop this idiot from hurting you" she pointed at Natsu

"Look I don't blame you, Gray or Wendy" she smiled

"R-Really Lucy-san" Wendy asked, shyly

"Of course, Wendy" she patted the blue hair girl head

"But we still could have stopped this flame-brain from kicking you off the team" Gray said

"Oi, Ice-Princess I'm right here" Natsu yelled, butting heads with Gray

"I don't care it's your fault you are the one who hurt, Lucy" he yelled, butting his head back at Natsu

"That's not true I don't remember anything like that... why would I hurt Lucy. She is my best friend, the one I-" his sentence is cut off by Lucy slapping across the face, tears running down her face

"How could you say that... that you don't remember hurting me. You and Lisanna attacked me calling me weak... useless... and kicked me off the team for her"

"T-That's not true..." Natsu stuttered

"Natsu-san it's true Mira told us everything" Wendy added

"This is all your fault, Natsu" Erza said crossing her arms

"N-No it can't be... true. Luce I swear-" he tried explaining but nothing worked

"No, Natsu, don't swear, it just makes it worse. It's best you leave me alone from now on. The only thing worse of this whole thing was that even though you hurt me... I still loved you since the day I met you and still did even after hurting me... but not anymore. I hate you Natsu Dragneel" Lucy cried more

After letting him know to leave her alone. She ran back to Laxus and hugged him. He hugged her back, letting her cry into his shirt. He glared at Natsu. He carried Lucy back to the inn, she slept for a while in his arms.

"Nice going Flamebrain" Gray said

"S-She loved... me" he fell down onto his knees, "I'm sorry Luce... I really am" a tear leaked out from his eye

*behind a rock*

'Shit! The potion it's losing it's effect. I'll never get Natsu back if he runs after her' Lisanna screamed in her head

*in the train ride back home (Ever and Lucy)*

"Hey Lucy, you okay?"

"Y-Yeah... just a bit tired" she lied, running her hand through Laxus hair

"Why don't you sleep. The guys are at least for a bit?"

"I don't know... if I sleep I remember *tears start forming* I don't want to remember"

"He hurt you that bad, huh"

"Well... yeah, I looked up to him since he saved me from the fake Salamander and brought me to Fairy Tail. I started having a crush on that idiot since that day... I still do, but I don't want him to hurt me" Laxus was listening to them the whole time, pretending to be asleep, "I loved him, I enjoyed being with him. On missions even if he did destroy the town and we had to pay for repairs. He would make everything fun not just by acting like an idiot. I would always get mad at him for sneaking into my room. He would take up the whole bed, he would come to my rescue. He did save me from Gajeel today, but now..."

"Lucy... he doesn't deserve you"

"Huh?"

"I mean yeah. I liked the old Lucy, but this Lucy... is way more awesome. She is more powerful, stronger, caring, kind and better in everything. Any guy would be happy to have her but an idiot like him. Who hurt you and doesn't know your true worth should be left behind. I love having you on the team not just because another girl instead of all boys. Plus your new style shows how much you have changed. You're the Thunder Princess unless you date Laxus. It's his mistake for letting go a beautiful diamond for a rock. I'm sure I know someone who would love to make that beautiful diamond feel like the most important, loved girl in the world" she smirked, a quick glance at Laxus at that last sentence

"Thanks, but I'm not a Princess"

"Well, yeah you are. I'm Queen till you date Laxus. Come on Lucy don't tell me you don't like him...?" she questioned

"Well..."

"OMG you do!!" she screamed, excited

"Shh... I can't deny he isn't an amazing guy. He is tall, handsome, strong. He did talk to me after Lisanna came back. I just don't know if it's a good choice to be with him when I'm still trying to get over that idiot..."

"That's true but you two would be cute together. Natsu let you go and someone is ready to take his place and make you the luckiest girl in the world. I say you should give him a chance"

"I'll think about it, Ever"

Laxus heard the whole thing. At first he wasn't happy that Ever might tell her about his crush on her. In the end Lucy said she would think about it and give him a chance. So he was happy plus he heard what she thought about him once again.

~Natsu pov~

I can't believe what I'm hearing, I can hear everything Lucy and Evergreen are talking about. I can't believe I'm losing Luce... I love her I don't believe I hurt her. I would never hurt anyone I love. So what got into me to act like that? I will not let Laxus win her heart. I'll make Lucy fall for me once again. I will do whatever it takes.
