WELL..... first I'm sorry for taking so long with this chapter. I did read the comments of updating. Yes, like before, I'm late because of sickness and all the doctors appointment for my next big operation. Hopefully, you like the chapter I'm about to give you. My mind is a bit hazy but I wanted to give you guys something for waiting and reading my terrible book. Thank you so much for that. You are all amazing. There is strong language- well not super strong like explicit... like every three words there is a fuck you, go die, suck di-. That type of thing.... anyway enough of my big mouth and these words at the very fucking beginning of the chapter.  Hopefully, it doesn't suck total shit and you delete my book from your library....

"Leave her alone!!"

"NEVER!! SHE IS MINE!! I WILL NEVER LET YOU HAVE HER. SHE WAS AND IS MINE FIRST. I WILL GET RID OF THAT MARK BUT FIRST I'LL GET RID OF YOU FIRST!!" he growled dashing at Laxus only to be struck not once or twice but five times with lightning

The guild members all dashed out to see what was happening. They couldn't believe the way Natsu was acting. Mira and Evergreen were the first to arrive next to Lucy helping her off the ground. Laxus sneered at Natsu's unconscious body stepping over him walking over to Lucy who ran into his arms crying.

"Shh... it's okay. I got you now. I won't let him hurt you, I promise. I will protect you with my own life. No matter what" he whispered hugging her in his tight strong hold, rubbing circles on her back to calm down her crying

"This isn't good. Erza, Gray, pick him up and bring him to the basement. We can't have him around her in this state. We don't know what he is capable of" Erza and Gray nodded, grabbing him taking him inside to the basement

"Lucy, are you alright?" Master asked

"Y-Yeah,... just a bit in shock" she stuttered

"SHOCK!! LUCY, YOUR SHAKING. YOU MUST HAVE BEEN SCARED" Laxus shouted, making her flinch, "Sorry, me screaming won't help"

"I think it's best to take her somewhere safe. Away from home where she can relax and get some rest" Master suggested

"Your right, gramps" Laxus, held her close walking away from the guild

As Master went back inside, Laxus was leading Lucy away and to his place. He believes keeping her close to him she will be safe. He promised her that Evergreen would be able to get her some extra clothes for her stay. The whole way Laxus had to hold her tight, she was shaking. Like a leaf on a windy day. They soon arrived to his place, he brought her into the living room area. As she sat down, it looked as she wasn't even herself, she was gone. She was just staring straight ahead, an empty space. Not a single move was able to snap her out of her current state. Laxus sat in front of her trying to see what she was looking at, he turned to look behind him. There was nothing there, an empty space, just a white wall, plain old white paint on drywall.

Laxus stood up till a hand stopped him, "...d-don't leave, p-please" Lucy whispered

"I'm not leaving, I'm here right with you"

"Laxus, i-is he going t-to.."

"NO!! He isn't going to come for you. I promise you, I will protect you. He would be beyond stupid, beyond idiotic and retarded if he ever-"
