The Path to Our Future

-1 year and 3 months later-

"Are you ready for today?" Mira asked

"I'm really nervous to be honest"

"Don't be today is gonna be another best days of your life"

"I know it is but... can I be honest about something?" she told her

She looked at Lucy through the mirror making eye contact with her. She nodded as Lucy gulped standing up and leading her over to the bed in the room. They both sat down as Lucy held her hands in her lap. She pressed her lips pressed closed and eyes on Mira's hands, Mira could hear slight sniffles coming from Lucy.

"Lucy, what's wrong?"

"It's about Lucas Theo..." she looked up at Mira, her eyes watery, "It's about what Natsu shouted before we left that horrible place. I know right now he is still very young but what about in a few years"

"What did Natsu shout at you two?"

"He shouted out 'You can't hide it forever, my Queen. He will know soon and how will he feel once he finds out'. At first I thought he was talking about Lucas Theo maybe being his till I remember one specific moment the day before the Blood Moon night. He was outside my room talking to someone... like that person already knew I was pregnant because I clearly remember what they told Natsu..." for a short while she lost her voice

"Lucy... what did they tell Natsu?" Mira asked, gripping her hands

"They told him that'as long as it was the Blood Moon it would be successful for the baby to become the One'. Mira, what do I do? What the hell is 'The One'? What do they want my baby for?"

"Does Laxus know about this?" Lucy shook her head, "Well, that's the first step Lucy to tell him what you know. Then we can figure out what that person was talking about with Natsu"

"What if Laxus goes mad and tries finding this person? What will happen to Lucas Theo?" Lucy cried out, Mira pulled her into a hug

A few minutes went by and the door was opened as Erza and Levy walked in.

"Are you ready, Lu-chan?"

"Why are you crying, Lucy?" Erza asked

Lucy shook her head standing up, "Sorry... they are just happy tears. I can't wait to be married to the man I love"

"Aww, Lu-chan. Here" Levy said, handing her some tissues, "Now smile today is a big day"

They helped Lucy wipe eyes her tears and fix her makeup once again. Once she was all set, Levy fixed her dress once again. Lucy stood by the end as Mira handed her the bouquet of flowers before standing before her. The church was beautifully decorated starting with a simple gray color drapes hanging at the entrance. The benches were decorated with ribbons in colors of white and gold.

Along the edge was fake grass with flowers coming out of it, in colors of purple, pink, yellow or red. At the four corners of the church were beautiful hung and lit to bring in the soft lighting. The door opened up as the song began to play and the bridesmaids stood in front blocking Lucy. Everyone stood up and faced the center of the isle, those sitting at the end held roses that they would hand over to Lucy.

Mira, Erza, Levy, Evergreen waited as the aisle began to fill with water before walking. Lucy stood by with Master waiting till it was her turn to walk. The girls all made it down the aisle and took their place to the left side of the church. Laxus's smile grew as he saw Lucy standing beside his grandfather. His eyes began to water as they both walked down the aisle, Lucas Theo let out a little giggle as he was standing beside his dad. When Lucy and Master stood in front of him, she bent down to kiss Lucas Theo before looking Laxus in the eyes.
