Chapter 6-
"Sure, brother," I said, rolling my eyes. "Guys, this is not really funny. How about this: 'What did zero say to eight?' Eh, that is what you call funny, not this. Mr.Owens, quit smiling and talk. I am now extremely having a mental block. You are my brother."
Mr. Owens was twenty-three years old, as far as I knew, though now Jack- no, Magnus, Anna and Terrence kindly taught me that all I knew was not the truth. Girls swooned, but I couldn't like him, as long as soil didn't enter my eyes. He taught me gym. That was enough reason. Half the time I got smacked on the face with balls, whatever ball it was.
He had curling brown hair- though he now had snow-white hair- green eyes, and was very tall. I thought he looked too young for an adult of twenty one, but now it made sense. Senalians stopped aging at eighteen in appearance.
"Mr. Owens," I repeated.
He smiled coolly, to my large annoyance. "I'm sure you are surprised, and I think it is not all so pleasant." His smile melted away, and he sighed. "Nice belt."
"What? I'm not wearing a belt-"
I caught myself in the middle, and gave him a death glare. "Your reaction is do fast I will faint."
"My, thank you," he said, smile still on his stupid face.
I let out a sigh, loud enough that Miles could hear me from wherever he was then. "So. What next? Tell me."
Anna cleared her throat unnecessarily."Er, we would like to escort you to England. Senalia is one kingdom under this earth. Not exactly underwater either. The entrance to Senalia is in a sea of England."
"My parents. What about them?" I asked defiantly.
"We cannot tell them anything," Mr. Owens said as soon as I was finished with my sentence, firmly but gently. "But my dear, one second's passing in this world is one hour in Senalia. It will not be so long felt."
"It will not take long? What do I have to do?" I said, suddenly feeling helpless and weak.
"Trust us, and we will guide and serve you," said Terrence. "Trust us."
When I saw my own white hair again, and the four people looking at me, I nodded. "Sounds fun. We're going. But guys?"
Magnus tensed visibly. "Yes ma'am?"
"Can we have some food first? I am starving."
