Ash's P.O.V.
We arrived into our new house in a matter of ten minutes and everyone was in complete shock at how big it was except for me and Christopher. Lilly was gasping at how big the doors were and Bree was surprised at the big glass windows that were wider than her arm span. The movers helped mom and dad place stuff in our new house but once we got started we realized we didn't have much at all besides Christopher's electronics, Lilly's stuffed animals, Bree's hair and nail kit and all of our clothes. The house was pre-furnished already leaving us with nothing to go shopping for but food. Lilly, Bree, Christopher and I ran through the big doors into the almost empty hallway. Lilly ran upstairs and found a room full of toys and books while Bree and Christopher explored to look for a great internet connection along with the passcode. I left Lilly alone with her animals and decided to visit my room once again. The angel painting on the ceiling greeted me again along with the smell of lilac flowers and fresh wood. I opened my walk in closet and smiled just as my phone buzzed.
Bree
I call the room downstairs, it's got great wifi connection and is painted light blue.
I call the one upstairs, it's white and green but I'm not sure about the wifi connection but I don't mind anyways.
Christopher
I call the one to the right upstairs, it's cream white and I like the spacing. That left me thinking. What room did Lilly want since I knew we had three more bedrooms than we needed. I knew we weren't officially moving in for another couple months, but we wanted to get the main things from our old house moved in so we didn't have such a hard time later. I shoved my phone into my jean pocket then walked into the light pink colored toy room that had many varieties of stuffed animals, building blocks, Legos, and toy trains to make a child happy forever. Lilly was playing with a tiny purple train when I sat down beside her.
"Choo choo! Watch out Ash the trains coming to get you!" She said aiming the train for my leg. "Not so fast!" I said gently clicking the green train into the purple one. "Man down man down!" Lilly said tilting the train over to it's side on the floor. I laughed. "Lilly what bedroom do you want?" I asked. "Something smallish I guess..." She said. "I'll show you some good ones." I said picking her up off the floor and into my arms. Even though she was seven damn she was light. I brought her down the hallway to the one room me or Christopher hadn't seen yet. I opened the door to a light red colored room that looked almost pink. A tiny red bed sat in the corner with cream pillows and a teddy bear on the foot of the bed. Lilly jumped out of my arms and grabbed the bear. "It's... It's so fluffy..." She said. "Are they're any monsters in the closet Ash?" She asked holding the bear close to her. "No." I answered looking through her cute closet which seemed perfect for her at this age. Good thing we had two more bedrooms down stairs beside the one for mom and dad. That way when Lilly got older she could have one of them with the bigger closets. "I'm hungry." Lilly said as her stomach grumbled. "Me too." I said even though I had completely lost my appetite. "Wanna go to the gas station down the street and get something. Lilly nodded and I texted Christopher and Bree if they wanted to come. Within seconds I got answers from both them. They really needed time away from electronics.
Christopher
Sure I'm hungry too meet you on the main level.
Bree
Nah I'm too cool to be seen with members of my own family outside of my house. Good luck.
Typical Bree.Christopher met us at the main level in less than thirty seconds and he was already looking up on his phone the fastest way to get there when I stopped him. "Let's take the long way around so we can get a view of what this full neighborhood looks like." He nodded and we stepped outside into the light wind. We were less than twenty steps out the door when Lilly took my arm. "Lilly, what's wrong?" I asked. "Kitty!" She screeched and ran to a small underfed cat. "The cat hissed and fell as Lilly got close to it. "I'll get it." I ran to Lilly's side and picked the cat up. "What are we gonna do with it Ash?" Christopher asked. "For now let's put it in the house and go to the gas station to buy some food for it as well then we will check for an owner." I said carrying the cat to our front door. "Why the hell would they have cat food at the gas station?" Christopher asked giving me a stupid face. "Cuz." I started. "It's America, they have everything at the gas station." After I put the cat in the house we walked to the gas station. "I wonder if we can keep him." Lilly said. "Don't you remember?" Christopher added. "Mom doesn't like cats." "That is true." I said nodding my head. "But." Lilly said. "What if she didn't know?" I looked at Christopher, he looked at me, then Lilly. "That might be the smartest and evilest idea you've ever had."
I'll update soon again, school, and dance along with holidays got in the way so I haven't had time to post sorry about the late update.
