Tell me that you care.
I dare you.
I dare you to make me believe in every lie you say.
You never listened to me as I spoke every word I felt.
You don't notice but you make it about you.
I try to speak my mind for a moment and get drowned out by your thoughts, and I listen.
I listen Becuase I love you and I care about every word that leaves your lips even if you don't care about mine.
I told you I was dying inside and you told me to wait while you spoke.
When I would try to talk to someone about it.
You would butt in and take their time away from mine.
But that's okay because I know you say you care. Right ?
You really meant it right ?
But most of the time it doesn't seem like it.
But you proceed to say you care.
So I make up a lie and say I'm fine so I don't waste your time.
