In school we are labeled and pushed down to the ground by everyone around.
Because we're "advanced"
Well I'm sorry.
I'm sorry that my grades aren't always straight A's but I'm only in 8th grade.
Teachers expect so much when we are dying in our own brain.
But you know we have school assembly's on how not to get raped. Well how about we teach the boys not to rape.
We tell the children "he's only picking on you cause he likes you" don't teach the girls that. Don't teach girls that being abused even mentally and physically is a sign of love because it's not.
How about our schools do something about the bullying that causes kids to kill themselves because it's not okay.
School tests don't define who I am as a person. They don't define how smart I am maybe I'm just not good at tests.
Testing anxiety is a thing.
Kids are more depressed and stressed as ever.
Little kids feel alone.
And I can't even hold my girlfriends hand without getting in trouble by all these teachers.
Because a straight couple can kiss and hold hands in front of teachers and it's totally okay but a gay couple gets separated and never seen again.
Because it's totally okay that schools make people feel this way right ?
