Chapter 58 - Caspar

-Joe-
"Yeah?"
"I love you,"
I thought this was a little random but I didn't pause to reply.
"I love you too baby," I whispered.
"When's Caspar coming?" She asked, taking my hand in her small one.
"About half an hour," I squeezed her hand and stood up, still holding it.
"Can we have a little 'us' time before he comes?" She winked.
I grinned, and not saying anything, hurried up the stairs.

We were like school kids, holding hands, running about, pillow fights and cuddling. But then I heard the bell.
Ellie sat up, "that's probably Caspar," she said, standing up and stretching, "I'll be up here if you need anything babe."
I kissed her cheek and then rushed out of the room to find an impatient Caspar stood outside.
"Hey buddy," I opened the door and smiled, stepping aside.
"Hey," he gave a weak smile, took off his shoes and hung his coat on the rack.
"You okay?" I asked him as he collapsed on the sofa.
"Yeah. Well. No. Not really. But it doesent matter," he smiled slightly, "let's start filming, we doing yours or mine first?"
"Caspar wait," I put my hand on his arm but he slid it up so his hand was on mine.
I felt a pleasant shiver go up my spine as we both glanced at each other in unison. 
I coughed.
"Let's do mine first?" I set up the camera.
He didn't move.
"Caspar?" I pushed him slightly, and he sat up with a start and shook his head, "sorry buddy,"
We filmed a Q&A for my channel, then another one for Caspar.  It took around two hours for us to be completely finished.
Caspar stood up.
"I'd  better get going Joe. I'll see ya later," he touched my arm and I shivered.
I sat back down on the sofa, hugging my knees.
"Why don't you come to Kentucky with me and El?" I asked eventually.
His face lit up.
"Thanks Joe. You're the best,"
"Id best get Ellie. I'll be right back,"

I climbed the stairs quickly.
"El! We're going to Kentucky!!"
"Hey Joe," she opened the door and smiled weakly.
"Hey baby what's up?" I brought her into my arms.
"I'm okay. Just a little tummy ache. I'll get my coat."
I shook my head to myself.
"Hey El I'll go get it. We'll eat at home."
I picked my coat up. Caspar was ready at the door.
"Hey Cas El isn't well so I'm gonna get it and bring it back so we can eat here. Is that okay?"
He smiled, "that's fine Joe. I'll come."
"No you need to stay and take care of my girlfriend."
"Do you want me to go get it? So you can stay with Ellie?"
"That would be amazing Caspar. Thanks a lot,"
I gave him twenty quid and told him our orders.
"And Joe?" He said as he was about to go.
"Yeah?"
"I need to talk to you when I get back, it's really important."
"Sure mate. See ya."
