Leocadia~ Chapter 2

The next day, Marinette made sure she woke up early so she could get Chat's present looking perfect. As she finished tying the black bow around the red box she couldn't help but smile. "Ah 7.30am I still have plenty of time to get to school" She said to her Kwami, as Tikki looked at her with a tiresome look. Marinette gathered her things and decided to head over to Alya's house with a surprise breakfast from the bakery.

"Adrien!!" Adrien shot out of bed and looked at his alarm clock. "7.50am!? I only have ten minutes!". "Adrien!!" Adrien recognised the voice it was his father's assistant, who was also in charge of making sure Adrien woke up at 7.30am. She knocked on the door and walked into his room without waiting for his response. "Adrien you have ten minutes to be ready, breakfast will be served in the limousine" Adrien sighs and gives her a quick nod before she exited his room. Of course no one would remember that today marks his first year at school. Why would they? It's not like he's graduating or anything worth celebrating but still. As he watched Plagg waking up, Adrien couldn't help but feel dejected.

"Marinette I still can't believe you woke up early and brought me breakfast!" Alya says to her best friend Marinette as she hugs her. Marinette smiles. "I can't believe there were leftovers". Marinette replies with a giggle. "Hey guys!" Nino says as he runs over to them waving his hand. "Hey Nino, would you care for some bakery goods?" Marinette asks with her usual smile. "Don't mind if I do Marinette. Your family makes the best food" Nino takes a croissant off the platter, just as Adrien's Limousine pulled up in front of the school. That's strange, Adrien is usually early for school and not arriving 2 minutes before the bell is to ring. Marinette thought to herself. As Adrien stepped out of the limo a noise could be heard from his stomach. Marinette smiled to herself and hoped she would get the right words out. "H-hi Adrien, would you l-like some food from m-my parents Bakery?" Well she managed to get the words out without making a fool of herself. "Thank you Marinette.  I was running late this morning and was meant to have breakfast in the car, but it seems my father's assistant forgot to place it in the limo." Adrien said as he reached for a crepe. Just as Adrien finished eating the bell went and school had officially started.

Meanwhile back at Adrien's mansion. "You are my assistant and therefore you are to act as such! Adrien was almost late for school today and he had no breakfast. That's not healthy for a teen model such as him. Don't disappoint me again or it will cost you your job!" As the assistant sat in her office she wished for nothing more than to disappear. It wasn't even her fault anyway. Adrien is 15, he should be more responsible for himself. Just then the outline of Hawk Moth's mask was displayed on the assistant's face. "You're right, it wasn't your fault. Those teen brats should pay for what they have done and I can help you accomplish that in return for Chat Noir and Ladybug's miraculous. So what do you say... Leocadia"? "I accept your proposal Hawk Moth.

"Marinette, I want more of your bakery food" Alya complained to Marinette. Marinette however was thinking about Adrien and how she was going to congratulate him on a full year of school. Suddenly parts of the roof began to fall and an evil laugh could be heard. "Miss can I be excused" Both Adrien and Marinette called out at the same time. The teacher nodded while still staring at the roof. Marinette and Adrien both dashed out of the room but Marinette needed to say something to him. Although it may not be the best time it may be the only chance she would get if the school was shut down for the day. "Adrien!" "Yes Marinette?" Adrien replied trying not to sound too in a rush. "I-I J-just wanted to say...c-congratulations on your first full year of school" Marinette said with a shy smile. Adrien looked surprised but very happy that someone had remembered. Not even Nino had said anything to him. As he was about to respond more laughter was heard and they both took off in the opposite direction.

Ladybug immediately took to the roof. But as far as she was concerned there was no one causing any damage. Just then a pair of gloves covered her eyes. "Guess who!". "Is this really the best time Chat"? "See you did know it was me, my Lady" Chat Noir said with a wink. Ladybug couldn't help but smile. "We need to meet up later I have a surprise for you" Ladybug said cheerfully to Chat Noir. "Well it can't be about our anniversary after all a certain someone said not to make a big deal out of it" Chat said with a cheeky grin. Just then a bang sounded on the roof and a person appeared in a black and white striped outfit. "I am Leocadia and you both are going to hand over your Miraculous or this school is going to fall." She laughed once again before disappearing. "Where did she go?" Lady asked Chat. Just then Chat pushed Ladybug forward just as the villian reappeared. "Rats, I almost had them" Leocadia said before flying into the air. "Great an akuma who can turn invisible and fly". "But you can sense her right Chat"? "Of course I can". "we can defeat her then. When she appeared I noticed she had glasses on. The akuma could be in there". Ladybug stated to Chat. "Lets do this" Chat said with much enthusiasm.

Ladybug and Chat Noir defeated the Akuma and discovered it was Adrien's father's assistant. Now with the akuma sorted out and the school closed for the day Ladybug and Chat agreed to meet in the park after they had revitalised their Kwami's.
