•••Christmas Eve•••

Things with Jenson are great. We've been on a couple dates and we hang out all the time.

My cousin has been hanging out with me when I'm not with Jenson and we have fun two.

I decided that I wanted a milkshake today before going back to my moms so I walk into my favorite little café with amazing shakes.

In the corner I see a familiar figure. Why is Jenson here in Christmas Eve?

I walk over to his table, "Jenson?" He looks up at me and I can see that he's been crying. His eyes are red and his face is flushed. I sit down and across from him and his eyes follow me.

"Jenson why have you been crying?" I asked as gently as I could.

He sniffled and looked away from me. "How do you know that I've been crying?" He asks me. Denial was clear in his voice.

"Jenson...tell me what's wrong so I can try to make this better."

He looks at me and his blue eyes are intense and bright.

"It's the second year she's been gone. And instead of being together like a family should be, mom leaves without a word, dad goes off to find her and Jami goes to get drunk. And now I'm alone. Once again I'm left alone!" Jenson says his voice shaking.

Then like a slap in the face, it all makes since. Today's the anniversary of his sisters death. She died on Christmas Eve...

Standing up I grab Jenson's arm. "Common."

Sniffling again he asks, "Where are we going?"

"Jenson, you're not going to be alone. You're coming home with me." I tell him.

He stops and it pulls me to a stop too. I look at him.

"Thank you."

I nod and grab his hand lacing our fingers together while we walk to my car.

"Who was that guy the day at the coffee shop?" Jenson asks as we sit in my room.

"My cousin JJ."

"Oh" he says, "I thought I was going to be in some weird love triangle." He confesses. I look at him and can't help but smile while his gaze remains on the floor.

"Jenson I don't care if it's a triangle, square, or circle, I would still have chosen you..."

His gaze snaps up to me and his eyes meet mine, "You're to amazing you know that. Most girls-"

I cut him off, "I'm not other girls Jenson. I'm not seeing you because of popularity. I'm not going to leave you. I'm here as long as you want me to be here." I say with brutal honesty.

"I don't think I'll ever want you to leave." He says looking at me once again.

"I don't think I'll ever want to leave." I reply
