There she was...stewing I'm sure, on what kind of drama she wanted to stir up next. I was just so tired...tired mentally, and so tired of Kathy's lies. I was giving her one more chance to get her story right. One more chance to tell me the truth.

"Lieutenant, thank you so much for coming," Kathy stood as I entered the visiting center. It was only us two and her lawyer. Her whole demeanor had changed from the previous time I had seen her. Of course last time she was high on drugs, but the things she has put Kenna through, I never thought she was a rational woman to begin with.

"First, I want to apologize for getting Kenna involved with this," she motioned her hands, referring to us. "But I'm not sorry about what I said about Elliot," I scoffed, rolling my eyes. Just when I thought she being serious. "No no, Olivia I wasn't lying. I was high then but I'm sober now."

"Kathy, your accusation is insane. My husband wouldn't cheat on me, or leave a child without its father," I sat across from her, absentmindedly resting my hands over my bump.

"Why would I make this up? Why would I cause such a disruption to you, and I guess your growing family," she looked down at my stomach, and tried to smile.

"Lieutenant Benson, Kathy would like for Mr.Stabler to provide a DNA sample. This honestly is the only way to clear this whole thing up."

I was speechless. I didn't know exactly what to say or do, because that meant I'd have to bring this up to Elliot ...and find out the truth. I didn't doubt Elliot one bit, but it made my stomach churn just having to assess the situation.

"Now by law he is required to partake in the paternity test, but I'm going to give you until the end of the week to talk to Elliot and have him come to my office."

"Okay," I forced a smile and nodded. When on the inside I wanted to scream, I wanted for this bitch to have never existed.

Stabler Hampton Estate
It was just past nine, when Olivia had gotten all of the children down for bed, and now she waited for Elliot to get home. Since she left from talking to Kathy, Olivia had been playing possible scenarios in her head. How she would approach the subject, or how she would handle the many answers Elliot could've had.

She tried her best to relax in the living room, and laid on the sectional after showering. She ran her hands over her bump, and laughed a bit. It was barely her 16th week of pregnancy and her clothes were already starting to barely fit. Then the sound of the garage opening rumbled the house. Which immediately made Olivia nervous and anxious, because it meant that Elliot was home.

"I'm shocked you're not in bed," Elliot entered into the dimly lit living room, and kissed his wife sweetly before sitting on the couch, and resting her feet in his lap.

"I was waiting up for you," she was more quiet and monotone than normal.

"Babe, talk to me," he reached for her hand and rubbed the back with his thumb.

"Um.." She swung her legs around and sat up. "I've been dealing with this case for a few months now..and this woman is saying that you are the father of her 13 year old daughter," she held her breath until he answered.

He ran his hand over his face and rested his head between his legs. Elliot was in deep thought, and unsure of how to answer this question without hurting his wife.

"Elliot.."

"Olivia I am so sorry," her eyes welled with tears in an instant. His apology said it all. She didn't even want an explanation at this point.

"El, what did you do?" she cried softly as she held her stomach.

"Back.." He started but paused. "When we had just started dating and figuring out what we were.. I ended up going out with the guys and meeting this woman named Kathy. I thought she was just a one nighter, but she kept calling and I kept answering-"

"You cheated on me?"

"Olivia.." He reached out for her but she pulled away.

"Elliot we were dating, we were in a relationship! How could you do this to me?"

"I didn't know what I wanted Olivia, and I made the mistake of trying to figure that out by sleeping with another woman."

"Was it me? Was I not good enough for you, did you just settle for me?" She lashed out at him and stood.

"Never! Olivia, baby please listen to me!"

"You need to leave," she croaked painfully as tears flooded her face. He stood, silent, not moving one bit only staring at his distraught wife. "GO! PLEASE!" She cried out, pushing her hands into his chest. She didn't need to hear the rest, not right now. Her heart only broke more every time he spoke. Olivia couldn't fathom letting him sleep in the same bed, let alone the same house. Not tonight.

He didn't fight her, he didn't say another word. Elliot knew he messed up, and that she would need time to process this. That in due time he would get the chance to explain.

Olivia laid in bed heartbroken and betrayed, still in tears. It was nearing three in the morning, and sleep seemed to no longer be an option. It felt impossible to sleep without her husband by her side, his arms wrapped protectively around her and her growing swell. But she knew it was best if he left tonight, that she needed time to take in this information before learning about what happened with Kenna.

For months, she had been protesting against Kathy's ridiculous accusation, and now she was the one looking like a fool.

Ten years into marriage and you still can't seem to keep a man Olivia!

Since she was young it seemed as though she always got the worst guys in the bunch. However, once she met Elliot, she knew he was the one, or at least she thought.

Olivia had no idea what to. If it were her ten years ago she would've ran like hell. The thought of being hurt by love was scary for her, so instead she would just avoid it all together. However, now she had more than herself to think about. There were now 5 other lives to take into consideration. Now she would have to fight for this marriage, for the sake of her five children.

"Mommy?" Olivia was pulled from her thoughts when she heard Penelope call from the door. Quickly Olivia tried her best to flick the tears away, not wanting her child to see her upset.

"Baby, why are you out of bed?" Penelope, although tiny, managed to climb on the bed without her mother's help.

"I had a bad dream," she climbed in between what she thought was her mother and father, but was only meet with an empty side of the bed. "Where's daddy?" Olivia forced a smile, although she hurting on the inside. Her daughters question brought Olivia back into reality. How was she going to deal with...this in the morning?

"He's um..he's staying the night at a friends house. You know like how you and Lola sometimes have sleepovers?" That was the best excuse she had for now. Penelope sat and stared at her mother, still trying to understand why her father wasn't home.

"You know what? How about you sleep with me tonight?" She pulled her close and kissed the top of her curly brown head. "I love you," she whispered softly as sleep claimed Penelope moments later.

Olivia prayed that sleep would claim her soon too, because she would need all the energy she had for the war she would be facing tomorrow.
