Aria woke up with a banging headache, she could hardly lift her body off her bed, and she just knew that she'll probably end up staying in bed all day. Her mother would never let her out looking so miserable. Aria hated having a flu, especially when she knew she had errands to run, she had to drop off some pictures she took recently, help Emily with her Uni application, Aria was surprised Emily has asked her rather than Spencer but apparently she was busy and didn't want to interfere, and most importantly she intended on surprising Jason at his office to bring him lunch, just like a good girlfriend would, right?

However considering how she was feeling at the moment, there was no question on earth about even considering leaving the house this morning. Aria rushed to the kitchen to see her mum, to childishly ask her for some meds. They always made her drowsy but she was running out of options. As she laid back in bed comfortably, she noticed her phone lighting up and she growled in annoyance as she knew she'd have to get up and get it.

The frown on her face soon changed into a smile as she noticed it was a message from her boyfriend.
"heyy babe :* " . Aria's fingers tapped the screen as if she was running a marathon, she told Jason how shitty she felt this morning and told him she'll have a nap, in hopes of feeling better after she wakes up. It still taunted her that he has not said i love you  back, but at this point she didn't want to dwell on it and tried to get some sleep.

________

"she's just in her room" Ella guided Jason to her daughter's room.  She found it admirable that he cared so much for her, she could tell he was one of the good ones, and honestly in comparison to Ezra she was ecstatic to find out her only daughter was dating a boy she always had fancied, who happens to be also her best friends brother. She smiled at him, she wasn't a cougar but she could clearly see what girls would see in him.  His mannerisms gave him an extra charm.  Ella left the Aria's door open, and without saying anything left Jason, pointing her finger at the door and kinking her eyebrows as to tell him to leave them open. So he did and thanked his girlfriend's mother for welcoming him to their house.

Aria slowly opened her eyes, to Jason stroking her cheek gently.
"sorry i didn't mean to wake you up, i was just leaving, i went to the shops and bought you some chocolates, I figured ... " he explained.
"ohhh myyy am i dreaming" Aria kissed Jason on the cheek. Jason tried to kiss her on the lips instead but Aria pulled away. "i have a cold remember i don't want you getting anything".
"I don't mind. I would have an excuse not to go to work today" he winked.
"is it that bad? " Aria asked as she wondered why he never really spoke about his job. She knew he was helping his dad out at the office but that's about it.
"no, is just so boring, i'd much rather be here with you!" this made Aria flutter and she felt her cheeks getting hot flushed.
"I must look terrible!" She blurred out a she just realised how she must look just about now, she wasn't sure if she was comfortable with Jason seeing her all snorty and dazed.

Jason got off the floor by the side of Aria's bed and motioned her to move up a little bit so he could cuddle into her on the bed. They were facing each other now, and Jason brushed Aria's random hair locks off her face and tucked them behind her ear so he could stare right into your eyes.
"you are beautiful Aria montgomery" He smiled. Aria was opened her mouth to interject, but got shushed by a wet passionate kiss. It only lasted a couple of seconds which was not long enough for neither of their tastes.
"look I need to go back into work, because i'm just on my lunch break but I'll come later and cook something for you or something boyfirendy like that" he chuckled. Aria pulled into his embrace closer than before, she couldn't think of another way to express her gratitude. He was amazing. No he was more than that, he was perfect, he was everything she could have dreamt of, but the insecurity of being in love with him and him not feeling quite as strongly towards him still lingered in her mind.

" you really don't have to worry about me, no matter how cute it is" Aria whispered against his chest.
Jaoson was tracing patterns on Aria's back, which was really comforting for the both of them. It helped ease their mind. Jason swallowed hard, and pulled away slightly to face Aria.
"of course i do..." he said confidently. "i'm your boyfriend remember, and I ... I... love you" he continued, slightly unsure whether or not she still felt the same way. He was worried that maybe it just slipped her lips without thinking about it, after all in his mind none of his previous relationships were as intense as this, he had a share of a few steamy flings here and there, but to him Aria felt different, she wasn't just a girl he wanted to date, or kiss and have fun with, he also thought of her as maybe possibly marrying her one day and he tried to take things slow, but staring into those green eyes didn't make the anticipation for the response any easier. Aria's eyes started to water, she shut her eyes tightly to what seemed like to try stopping herself from crying.
"i love you Jase" She simply said with a smile on her lips

On that note Jason left the room, waving her goodbye just before he left the room, he was already running late back to the office and he knew he'll get told off by his dad, but the loving look Aria has given him made up for it 20 times over.

Jason did keep his promise, at least he tried, he realized he wasn't the best of cooks and ordered some takeaway instead, which nobody complained about. One big pizza for him and Aria, and one for Mike and Ella. He hadn't really asked them whether they wanted one or not but he figured it would be rude to just turn up at somebody's house with a pizza box which smelt this delicious, and not share with all of the other family members. Mike was delighted with Jason's kind gesture and even cracked a couple bad jokes about him being a good brother in law, but everyone laughed about it, which only added to the good of a night this evening was turning out to be. Evening like that is what Jason could get used to, being surrounded by people who cared and appreciated him for who he was, it was different being able to open up than he was used to over the past years and he liked it. But sadly summer was nearly coming to an end and it meant Aria will leave to work at New York and this dreaded the hell out of them both.
