Aria's alarm clock started buzzing, she mumbled something in her sleep before she rolled over in the bed and noticed Jason wasn't there. She sat up and yawned, the tables have turned, she used to be the early bird, but lately it seems to be the other way. She stumbled out of the king size bed and lifted her feet over the edge of the bed as she looked for her cosy slippers on the ridiculously expensive velvet rug. Aria walked into the kitchen and saw Jason leaning against the counter and carefully inspecting a toaster.
"the toast will pop out i promise" Aria laughed as she cuddled him from behind.
"morning babe" he turned around and kissed her on the forehead.
Aria looked over on the dining room table and noticed a bunch of sketches and paint tiles on it.
She walked over to the table "what's all of this?" she asks. Jason sneaked up behind her and kissed her shoulder gently "I was thinking beige for the nursery but pastels are nice too i guess" he presented picking up the tiles and showing them to his wife. Aria loved how involved he was with all of the baby planning.
For Jason it was a dream come true, he is hoping it would be a boy so he could play basketball with him, considering he would take the height over his father rather than Aria as she's tiny, but regardless of the gender he knows he will be happy anyway, because it will be his baby, his and Aria's baby, which is all and more than he always dreamt of.
"Jason I have a bunch of things i need to get ready for the baby shower party, do you mind picking up Spencer at 3 pm from the airport babe?" Aria asked sweetly. The toasts popped out of the toaster, and the couple both looked at each other and giggled.
"No problemo" he winked, he was sort of hoping to see Spencer without all the other girls, they decided that Spencer should be the godmother, Alison was the maid of honour and Mike was the best man at their wedding, Hanna already has twin girls of her own with Caleb, and Emily is travelling the world now that her successful swimming career has concluded. They decided it was a reasonable and wise choice, especially that she's planning on getting married to Wren, thanks to them setting her up with him.
" love you pumpkin" Jason screamed across their over sized top floor apartment.
"love you too hun" Aria screamed back with a smile, holding her tummy.
