Aria entered a deserted gallery in which she was supposed to start her apprenticeship tomorrow, she had a week to fit in before she had to turn up at the gallery for an official introduction. She wasn't sure what to expect, but what she saw next was definitely not it.
A handsome man, maybe in his early 20's appeared from behind the door. He had brown curly hair and hazel eyes, he wore a smart tight denim shirt, maybe he wasn't as muscular as Jason, but he was pleasant to look at Aria noticed.
"Oh Hi, you must be Aria!" He reached out his palm to welcome her, and she smiled to greet him warmly.
"I'm Wren Kingston and my father owns the gallery you see, he told me to show you round" he explained the best he could in his British accent.
"yes, thank you!" Aria followed right behind him as he pointed to the messy staff rooms, filled with pictures and painting of all sorts. He showed her where the technical rooms are, and told her what to do in case something went wrong, giving her a few scenario's."Also if you get bored you can just call this number" he blushed and handed her a post it note with what appeared to be his phone number.
"I .. thanks.. umm" Aria struggled for words, she felt slightly awkward.
He must have noticed Aria wasn't too fond of his advances and said"No. I'm sorry I didn't mean it this way...", this made Aria feel a bit guilty because Wren only meant well she thought, he knew she was single as she told him after they made a joke about not being allowed to fax any inappropriate images to her significant other, she said she was single and laughed about it, whoever said British humour was awful clearly haven't met charming Mr Kingston she thought.A silence has drawn between them, Aria finally asked "so what's your story?". Wren turned back o look at Aria "My dad gave me a choice of becoming a doctor or working here, I sort of got into med school but I found out my parents have paid for me to get in so I quit, I tried to make it work on my own but oh well, I'm here now" his voice had a hint of sadness to it.
"I'm sorry... I shouldn't of asked" Aria apologized, not knowing what else to say, Wren had a hint of mystery to him and although she wanted to know more, she decided against it.
Wren smiled brightly "it's okay, I want to be an open book you know, let's not dwell on it, shall we?" and he gestured to the staircase going up.Soon enough they found themselves on the top of the roof. The view was really nice. Maybe not as nice as Iceland but it was something that could take average person's who haven't seen the northern lights, breathe away. "it's a great view!" Aria exclaimed excitedly.
Wren handed her a Palaroid camera and said "well do what you do best" he winked. Aria grabbed the camera and began to snap away. She enjoyed this, she felt carefree, just doing what she does best. She even snapped a picture or 2 of Wren, she couldn't help herself, he only stood there folding his arms but the lighting was perfect, it showed of all of his contours.Wren caught her aiming the camera at him and attempted to cover the lenses with his hands as he ran towards her. Aria was bursting with laughter, first time since her departure from Rosewood she was able to laugh sincerely.
