"She should have woken up by now. Something's wrong," someone says. Lilly. I'd recognize her voice anywhere.

"She will wake up soon," the response sounds a little strained, indicating that whomever is saying it is trying to refrain from yelling.

"How many times have you said that?! 500," Lilly questions. There is silence. "That's what what I thought." Her voice sends waves of pain through my pounding head.

"Lilly," I wince. "Too loud." I turn away from the noise and try to go back to sleep when I feel a sudden pressure on my arms and chest.

"I'm so glad your awake," she sighs. I peel my eyelids away from each other and look at my best friend. Her head is buried in my breasts and she's completely on top of me.

"Are you comfortable," I ask her. She giggles and nods. That's when I notice the difference in the shirt I have on. This wasn't what I was wearing earlier. In fact, I'm not even sure it's mine to begin with. "Get up." She does and I stand up. I observe the clothes that I have on to realize that none of these clothes are the clothes I was wearing before. "Who...?" Before anyone can answer the question, Ryu storms in, immediately searching the room. His eyes land on me and relief overtakes his body. He wraps his arms around me and pulls me close.

"I was so worried," he says in my hair. I hug him back and tell him it's ok. Then I ask him how long I was out. "You were out for almost three days."

"Yeah right," I say. I go back to observing the pieces of cloth and decide that, because they're cute, I'll keep them.

I walk out into the hallway and look to my right to see Michael sitting in one of the waiting seats. He has his chin resting in his hands and he's staring at the ground, his brows furrowed with worry.

"Michael," I call cautiously, careful not to scare him. He head snaps in my direction and his eyes land on me. Instantly his expression is overtaken with relief and in an instant I'm enveloped in his arms. I hug him back unhesitatingly, leaning my head against his chest. "You're ok?"

"I should be asking you that. I'm sure you were hurt more than I was," I say. He doesn't have time to respond because the guards yank him back, telling him that that's enough before they haul him away. "I'll see you tomorrow." He waves at me just before he disappears around the corner. Ryu materializes beside me not too long after that.

"I don't really feel confident about your relationship with that guy," He tells me. "I'll let it slip now, but I will kill the bastard if he ever hurts you."

"He can't be that bad," I say in defense of Michael.

"You don't know him," He says, his voice raising just a fraction.

"Oh, and you do," I interrogate. He hesitates.

"You don't know what he's done. Neither have I, but I've heard about what he's done, what he's capable of," he sighs. He rakes a hand through his hair before taking my hands. "Just promise you'll be careful here."

"I promise," I say. "Now can you stop acting like my father? I already have enough of that stuff coming from my actual father, you don't have to add to it." He laughs, a smile completely overtaking his face. I smile back at him and stick my tongue out.

"Don't do that," he commands.

"Do what? This," I ask, sticking my tongue out again. Suddenly he has me pinned against the wall and his mouth is on my neck. I suck in a breath at the rush of pleasure that I feel. He kisses me twice, sucking on it each time he does. He nibbles before pulling away, and stares me with eyes full of lust and desire.

"Do that again, and I'm not sure I can restrain myself," He says. He lets go and walks away confidently. I slide down the wall and release the breath that I was holding. My hand goes to the spot his lips once were, and I stare after him, wishing he would come back and do that again.

"What was that? I thought he was supposed to be your best friend," Lilly questions.

"Yeah," I say breathlessly. "I thought so, too."
