Two Moons watched Singing Raven, Wild Flower, and Strong Oak leaving. He wondered what had made Wild Flower so angry. Strong Oak seemed to be at the center of that and Two Moons felt envy and jealousy stir his heart for the first time. Singing Raven seemed to be healing well, but all of his attention was focused on Wild Flower's retreating back. He knew that they needed to go, but he felt Wild Flower's loss already.
Two Moons stood there for a long time staring after Wild Flower. Only when she had disappeared from sight did he move. He let out a sigh as he went back to seeing what herbs and magical items survived his many years of asleep. Running Fox found him and sat down beside him. He studied him before he spoke.
"You like the stranger."
Two Moons looked at his friend. "I do and I don't know what to do about it."
"Why don't you seek the aid of Mystique? I'm sure she'll help you"
"At what price in my concern?"
Running Fox lifted one shoulder in a subtle shrug. "That is up to you my friend." Running Fox stood and started to walk away before he turned and spoke to his friend. "If you want my advice, it's well worth the price."
"What did she ask of you?"
"Something that I was willing to part with if it meant having the love of my life."
