Katarina thought back over the conversation she'd had with Christiana two days ago. She hated it that Anthony had driven Christiana away; they had made a good couple. Katarina stood on top of boulder and overlooked the activity that was going on in the cavern below. Her workers were busy intermixing with the Atlantians. Her sharp eyes spotted Christiana who was busy ignoring Anthony. Two Moons stood not far away and Katarina hid a smile as she saw the way he looked at her friend.

Footsteps scuffed lightly against the rock behind her. "You chose a rather difficult perch for one with a broken arm."

Katarina turned around and offered a hand to Jillian who was busy climbing up the rock. "Whew," Jillian said as she wiped sweat off her forehead. "Couldn't you have chosen an easier spot to get to Kat?"

Katarina laughed and hugged Jillian. "I could, but Running Fox said this was the best seat in town to watch the movement down below."

Jillian eyed Running Fox who stood to the right of Katarina before she shrugged and looked back at her. "You did it Kat. You have made history."

"With a lot of extra help."

Jillian made a dismissing motion with her hand. "I couldn't believe the things I was hearing from people. So I had to come and see for myself and you know what I find when I get here?"

Katarina shook her head as she smiled. "No. What?"

"I find Anthony hasn't changed, you have a broken arm, Christiana's mad at Anthony, and there's a handsome young man down there who is all googily eyed over Christiana."

"It's amazing at how fast things change. You'll be amazed at all that we have discovered and keep discovering."

"How do you talk to them?" The curiosity in Jillian's voice was evident.

"You remember the few times you came out to my Grandparent's farm?"

"Yea, but what does that to do with this?"

"Well, the language these people speak is the language that you heard at my Grandparents. It's an old form of Native American. That's how we communicate."

"Interesting," Jillian mused as she gazed down at the people below.

"Maybe you'll find your partner here."

Jillian looked at Katarina and snorted. "I doubt any of them identify themselves as gay or lesbian."

"You'd be surprised Jill. Ancient cultures were more open about that stuff than we are today."

Jillian shrugged.  "I guess I'll take things as they come."  Jillian slid a cat eyed look Katarina.  "You need to find a man."

Katarina shook her head vigorously as she held up both hands.  "Oh no I don't."

"Come on Katarina.  What is up with you not dating anyone?"

"I just haven't found anyone worth getting to know.  No man has yet struck my interest enough to date or jump in bed with."

Jillian snorted.  "If you're a virgin then I'm a flying monkey."

Katarina laughed and nudged Jillian.  "What I meant was that I haven't found anyone I'm willing to spend an extended amount of time in bed with."

Raven's Talon looked up as he heard a trill of laughter.  He was squatting down helping one of the elder woman gather up some blankets when he heard the laughter.  Raven's Talon looked all around the cavern till his eyes stopped on the two white women standing on top of a rock.

The raven haired lady with the broken arm was laughing at something the other woman had said.  The dark headed lady was beauty and she had features that resembled those of the ones who had chased them into these caves.  From what he could see her body was lithe and muscular yet curvy and she had the face of a Goddess.

"Raven's Talon?"

Raven's Talon turned his attention back to Weeping Willow and took the blankets she offered him.  "Forgive me Weeping Willow.  My mind was elsewhere."

Weeping Willow gave him a smile as a knowing look twinkled in her aged eyes.  "I will keep what I've seen to myself.  Just know that it's past time you found a woman."

All Raven's Talon did was smile as he stood and walked away.  The blankets were warm and slightly rough in his hands as he added them to the pile of good blankets.  He stood gracefully and headed back to Weeping Wilow for another load of blankets.  His eyes strayed to where the two women were and saw that they were gone.  The rock that they had been standing on was now empty.

Raven's Talon kept his eyes open as he carried blankets back and forth.  He planned on talking to either Two Moons or his sister Meadow Sweet.  She would know the name of the woman with the raven hair.  He planned on knowing the woman's name by the end of the day and then getting to know her in the upcoming days.
