"What are we going to do?"
Katarina rubbed her aching temples as she watched Christiana pace in her tent while wringing her hands. Jillian was leaning against one of the tent poles while Anthony was sprawled across her cot. Katarina had called her cousin and friends together to tell them of the events that had happened yesterday.
"This is going to be a game changer. The Vatican is not going to be happy about. No Christian is."
"I know Jillian. That hasn't been far from my mind since last night."
Anthony turned his head so that he was looking at Katarina. He reminded her of an upside down sloth. "Do you think that other deities could be alive?"
"I don't know cuz. It would make sense."
"Could we do another interview?"
Katarina made a face. "If we do I don't want what's her name again. That lady made feel like I did back in high school."
"I think I know someone," Jillian said slowly as she tapped a finger against her chin. "It's an old friend of mine that owes me a favor. He has connections with several different news rooms. I can ask him who he would recommend we get to come out her and do an interview."
"Shouldn't we ask the Atlantian Gods and Goddess if they want to do this first?"
"Anthony has a point Kit Kat."
Katarina sighed at Jillian stuck up for Anthony. That was saying a lot since Jillian didn't really like Anthony. She found him annoying and narcissistic which Anthony was. Katarina smacked Anthony on the leg and made a shooing motion. Anthony sat up with a groan as Katarina plopped down beside him. She leaned her head against his shoulder and laid a hand on his thigh. Anthony moved his shoulder before he placed a warm hand over hers.
"I have a feeling that I'll be developing a migraine from this."
Christiana giggled and blushed slightly. "Athyh Allumin of Alumin can help with that."
"Who in the hell is that?"
Christiana glared at Anthony before she clarified who Athyh Allumin of Alumin was. "It's Two Moons. He told me what his Atlantian name was. We can call him Athyh. He can give you something for your headache."
"Thanks Chrissy. I'll remember that, but Aihxxych is a God and last time I had a headache he healed it with a single touch of his hand."
"Go ahead and rub it in cuz."
Katarina glared at Anthony. "Oh grow up Anthony. If you would change your behavior you might get caught by a decent girl. Just don't go and piss off one of the Goddess. I'd had to clean your fried ass out of my hair."
Anthony roared with laughed which made Katarina cringe in pain. Anthony pounded her on the back. "That's what I love about you cuz. You're never afraid to say anything mean to me. You say it how it is."
"Well, I'm glad I can make you laugh."
Anthony sobered. "You make me rethink what I'm going to do. You are my conscious. That's why I'm the way I am. I remember how much you were bullied by the other kids. That is why I never really bullied anyone and the memory of Grandfather beating my ass always made me rethink bullying someone."
Katarina smiled a little tearfully at Anthony before she squeezed his muscular arm. "Thanks Anthony."
Anthony leaned down and kissed her forehead before he stood up. He gave Katarina his best bad boy grin. "While you decide what to do I'm going to go in search of some hot babes. If luck is with me maybe I can catch the eye of one of the Goddesses."
Katarina shook her head as Anthony exited the tent. She flopped down on her cot and let out a groan. "Can you get me some water Christiana?"
Rxychra Telondwe of Ularhin was standing with her sister Ohiyra. She had spent as much time as she could in the sun since be awoken from her long sleep. She liked the way her brother's warm rays warmed her skin. Ohiyra was busy chatting like a little school girl when Rxychra's attention was snagged by a handsome young man as he exited a tent. The man was tall with muscular shoulders and narrow hips. His long black hair fell almost to his waist and his dark eyes were like warm melted chocolate. High cheekbones gave him an exotic look and he had lips that just begged to be kissed.
Her eyes followed him as he walked over to a group of women and leaned against one of the strange vehicles these people used. The tittering and girlish giggling drifted on the breeze. A rich baritone laugh echoed from the man as he kissed one of the women on the cheek. He spun another one before he walked away. Rxychra liked the sexy lope of his walk and her mouth went dry as she saw how sexy he was.
"Did you find someone Rxychra?"
Rxychra gave Ohiyra a sly grin. "Oh Ohiyra, you know how I am."
Ohiyra laughed gaily. "I won't keep you sister. You go chase after the young buck you have set eyes on. I expect details once you're done."
"Of course sister. I'll see if he has a brother you can play with."
Ohiyra giggled and blushed as she waved Rxychra away. Rxychra laughed as she turned and set her gaze on her new prey. She hoped that he was ready for the love of a Goddess. It changes a man and he will never be the same.
"Look out human," Rxychra whispered as she set off after the handsome young man. "Ready or not here I come."
