Duskfoot woke to shouts and cries. Looking around at his clanmates he knew something was up.
"What's happening?" Duskfoot asked.
"Dawnleaf, Jade and Russetfur are missing!" Honeyblossom explained.
Duskfoot flattened his ears.
"They must have gone to the Twolegplace!" Peach cried.
"But Russetfur wouldn't!" Shrewclaw meowed. "Would she?"
"Of course she would," Blacktail hissed.
"Stop!"
Everyone stopped as Bravestar appeared.
"There is no need to freak out," Bravestar meowed. "If this is what Dawnleaf wants then we must let her go. She wants to be able to run again, then we are evil to stop her,"
The Shadowclan cats began to relax, their fur lying flat. Duskfoot knew that Bravestar was right.
"Today will be like any other day," Bravestar meowed nodding to her mate. "Newtspeck if you could organise the patrols please,"
Newtspeck nodded. Duskfoot sighed.
Starclan keep my sister safe. And my Mother. And Jade. Don't let anything happen to them.
