YAMAGUCHI TADASHI: COMPLIMENTS
For this one-shot, we'll start off with Yams' POV :D!!!

YAMAGUCHI'S POV
I clutched onto the small piece of paper scented with lavender while reading the words on it over and over again.
You give me light when no one else can.
I shakily breathed out then smiled nervously as I slipped on my school shoes then headed to class. In all my life, I've never received a single letter from anyone.
And a love letter (or compliment) at that.
I arrived at our classroom and went in then finally settled on my seat. I sighed then put the piece of paper containing the message inside my bag pocket. Suddenly, a pair of shoes walked towards me then greeted me.
"Good morning, Yama-kun!" (F/N) exclaimed with her cheery voice. She sat beside my chair then placed her bag on the side of her chair and turned to me. "How's your morning?" she asked me making me blush.
"It's the same as always," I managed to reply. Ever since we-Tsukki and I-became friends with (F/N), I've been constantly awkward around her since the day I realized liked her. Tsukki would constantly torment me about this ever since he noticed that I was shy around her.
"How about you, (F/N)-chan? How'd your morning go?" I asked casually, trying to keep a super steady voice so she doesn't notice. She giggled then smiled at me, her bright eyes sparkling as she did. "Oh, nothing much. It's just that I was able to do something I've never done in my entire life," she narrated.
"Really? What is that, (F/N)-chan?" I asked, intrigued by what she had said. She bounced slightly then told me something that-I think-shattered my heart.
"I told my crush what he is like to me! Like a semi-confession!" she said. "But that's not the best part! I'm going to do it everyday too!"
I managed to smile on the outside even if it hurts, but on the inside, I was slowly dying. "That's great, (F/N)-chan!" I exclaimed. She beamed at me then grinned.
"Thank you so much, Yama-kun! You're so bright like the light, too!"
I smiled. If only she knew that she was my light too.

You're really helpful and I love that about you.
Another letter. That's the third letter this week, a record. I was hoping that the letters would stop already but it didn't. I smiled then tucked the letter back in my bag then started to head to class when I bumped on (F/N) along the way, scattering the papers she was carrying.
"Oh! Sorry, (F/N)-chan!" I exclaimed then picked the papers up with her. She smiled and shook her head. "Nah. It's okay, Yama-kun. I know you didn't mean that actually," she told me making me blush. Her eyes widened as she pressed her hand on my forehead.
"Are you okay, Yama-kun? Are you sick? Do you need to go to the clinic?" she asked me, her eyes tinted with concern. I chuckled then removed her hand from my forehead. "No, (F/N)-chan. I'm fine, really."
As she was about to speak, the door to our room slid open then out came Tsukki, his headphones around his neck. He looked at (F/N) then at me then back at her and snickered.
"Smooth moves, (F/N)," he teased making (F/N)-and me, in case something bad happens-stand with the now neat stack of papers then slapped it on his chest. "Shut up, Tsukishima, you bastard!" Tsukki snickered then lowered to her height before whispering something in her ear making her blush and slap him with the stack of papers.
Ah. So Tsukki's the lucky guy, huh?
She pouted then turned around to me then sighed. "Let's take this to the faculty room, Yama-kun. Arguing with this megane here is useless," she said making me and Tsukki snicker. But, nonetheless, I went with her to the faculty room then gave the papers to the teacher.
When we went out, silence engulfed us; the comfortable type. I stole a glance at her but she noticed making me look away when she giggled.
"Thanks for the help, Yama-kun. Really, I appreciate it," she told me then stood in front of me then held my hands before shaking it lightly.
"You were made to help people, so don't stop!" she encouraged making me smile at her.
"Yeah, (F/N)-chan. I won't stop!" I exclaimed making her grin wider.
Yeah. I won't stop. Because you're the one who encourages me to help people.

I went to school a bit earlier than usual since I had some errands earlier making me wake up earlier than my usual time. I was yawning when I arrived the school's gates then proceeded to slowly walk towards the school's building.
Arriving at the building, I walked towards where my locker was then spotted the person I least expected to be there, an oh-so-familiar white paper on her hand.

READER'S POV"(F/N)-chan? Is that you?" a voice asked making me turn around, my mouth hanging open in horror. I saw Yamaguchi standing behind me as I turned around shakily.
"H-Hey there, Y-Yama-kun," I greeted. He approached me with serious yet nervous eyes then whispered.
"Is that a compliment for me today?" he asked. I sighed; he finally knew my feelings for him. I shook my head then handed him the paper containing the words I've been meaning to say to him.
I love you, Yama-kun. It's me, (F/N) writing to you.
I shut my eyes closed then braces for the rejection that would come. I knew that Yamaguchi might like another girl and not me but I tried. And now, here I am, caught red-handed and is about to face rejection.
I felt a pair of warm arms hug me. I looked up and saw Yamaguchi hugging me tightly before pressing my head on his chest. I blushed at the gesture but what made me blush more was his words:
"Me too, (F/N)-chan. I love you too," he told me then stroked my hair. I sighed in relief on his chest then smiled to myself, satisfied of the outcomes of today's event. The confession was a cliché one, but nonetheless, it was sweet.
And I liked that.

"Hold it up to your chin, Tadashi!" I persuaded as I tried to take a picture of him with my message for today. He blushed then slowly held the paper to his chin.
"T-This is so embarassing, (F/N)-chan!" he exclaimed. I giggled then positioned my phone to the right angle. "Come on, Tadashi! Don't be a killjoy! Now, smile!"
He readied himself then grinned at the camera. I giggled at his cuteness then took the photo.
Snap!
"You're so cute, Tadashi!" I exclaimed as I went to him and hugged him. He tensed for a bit then hugged me back.
"You're cuter, (F/N)-chan. Don't worry," he told me making me giggle.
"Yeah. But you're the cutest. And, most of all, your compliments adds to your charm," I told him making him blush beet red. I giggled then Eskimo kisses with him.
"Keep that up, okay, Tadashi?"
I looked at him in the eyes as he nodded before smiling softly at me. He Eskimo kissed me back then said:
"Will do, (F/N)-chan. Will do."
